List of Aarati B. Malliah's Reviews
I recently had an appointment with Dr. Malliah. She is a lovely person, and a great Doctor. She listened to all my concerns, and was very compassionate. I didn't wait long, to be called back to exam room. Office staff and Nurse were great. I was scheduled for Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. All the Nurses, Anesthesiologist, and assistants, were excellent. I wouldn't go anywhere else, for my GI needs. I highly recommend this office, and endoscopy suite.
Negative. Not good. She minimized the danger of an Abdominal Aneurysm that was discovered while I was being tested for something else. I won't visit her again.
Dr. Malliah has been my doctor for 3 years. She is caring, patient, and knowledgeable. She takes her time gathering as much information as possible before recommending treatment. She can answer almost any question in as much detail as you want, but isn't afraid to say "I don't know" and get back to you after some more research. I never feel rushed or patronized in her office. She has gone above and beyond to get me the treatment I need. She often calls me to discuss my case, which is awesome because I don't need an appointment every time I need information. If you're going to see Dr. Malliah, go to her Woodbury office. Jefferson GI is the most disorganized office I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with and I'm sorry a doctor as good as Dr. Malliah has to work there. The Woodbury office is much friendlier, faster, and more organized. I'm not rating the office aspects down below because the two offices are so different and Jefferson's poor quality isn't Dr. Malliah's fault.
I have had more issues with this office getting anything right, let alone a confirmed doctor appointment. It was somehow no longer on their schedule while I received a confirmation email and spoke to a staff member 1 week ago who confirmed the same. I do like my Dr., but I am not getting anywhere and just doing test after test after test, trying medication after medication. (Basically burning my wallet dry) I would NOT recommend this office due to their lack of accountability. Along with not having the ability to properly diagnosis an issue and treat it quickly. 4 months too long, I need a change. If the Dr. does not call me today, that is exactly what I will do.
Dr Malliah is a very caring doctor. She did my colonscopy and the whole team of healthcare professional were so wonderful with me. To all of the gastro team at Red Bank, Woodbury NJ. Thank you , keep saving lives.
Dr. Malliah and the entire staff were excellent. From start to finish, my experience couldn’t have been better. Everyone was extremely professional, and the “bed side manner” was wonderful. I highly recommend this practice and doctor!
If I could give this group of physicians more than a 5 star rating I absolutely would! Their whole staff is excellent, from the ladies at the front desk all the way to the physicians. They are located an hours drive awa from my home, but the trip is well worth it! I’m a big baby and I never once felt uncomfortable, nervous, upset, etc when being there. They never made me feel bad for being a big baby either (and trust me I am ☺️). If anything they took my fear completely away. I highly recommend them. The whole staff is absolutely amazing!
Great Dr can't say enough good things about him Michael Dimarino
Went to Dr Malliah and explained my symptoms and she immediately said I had IBS and told me to take probiotics and then gave me an antibiotic. On my next visit I explained that people I knew with IBS didn't have the same symptoms. She was very dismissive and said other people have different symptoms of IBS. I went to another practice and my new Dr listened to my symptoms and recommended a colonoscopy which when I had the procedure I actually had 7 polyps in my colon.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
