Thomas P Obade's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr Obade's since I was 12. He's excellent!! He has replaced both my knees and has taken care of a broken bone and severely spained ankles. He don't push you into surgery, he tries other routes first. In the 70's He and Dr . George (who is now retired) worked on my Dad's back after a serious work accident. He was told by the hospital he would never run or walk again. He became a soccer coach and ran up and down the field like it was nothing! Thank you Dr.obade for taking care of us

Great doctor

Had a great experience after a Motor Vehicle accident with Dr. Obade. Had a shoulder and a low back injury and the treatment helped me get back to doing my everyday activities. He listened to all of my issues and his staff was very helpful. I have been to several Orthopedic doctors over the years where I have waited 2+ hours to be seen. I was only there for about 1/2 hr before I saw Dr. Obade...pretty quick from my prior experiences. He has treated my wife and children and all have the same experiences with him. I highly recommend him.

I waited 2 hours and 30 minutes for a less than a 10 minute consultation. The office needs a complete update and deep cleaning. The walls have scuff marks on them; the baseboards and door trim paint is chipping off. The floors need to be stripped and waxed. Dr Obade is nice enough but was unable to explain to me in lay mans terms my injury. I’m switching dr’s.

Dr. Obade has been my orthopedic doctor for years and I trust him completely. His knowledge of how the body works and willingness to help and find a solution is superb. Every time I have an issue with my knee I go to see him, we talk about the next step, and fins a solution to fix the problem. He is definitely a skilled and knowledgeable doctor and I trust him completely.

Dr. Obade has treated me for years, I trust his judgment and hands on work completely . If I have any issues with my knee I go right back and we talk about the solution or the next step to take to fix the issue.

Find another surgeon/practice. He is too old and is showing signs of the early stages of dementia. The practice has a whole is a hot mess. How do you palpitate a woman's pelvis, manipulate her hip, legs and thighs, causing pain worse than natural childbirth, review her medical records and MRIs, then verbally opine she needs hip" resurfacing or replacement," walk out of the room only to be stopped by me telling him “I have no insurance” for him to then reply “you better get state-sponsored insurance because you need surgery,” in the presence of his PA, Brian Boockoff, PA-C then for both of them not to mention in my medical record Dr. Obade even examined me, let alone opined I needed surgery. I gave Dr. Obade, ample time to amend my record but Dr. Obade doesn't remember examining me and he won't amend my record or give me a refund so I can get a different surgical opinion. Record keeping is vital in a surgeon's practice, if it isn't dementia it's negligence.

Find a surgeon who cares and who takes memorializing evaluations and HIPPA violations seriously.

He told her he was putting in a certain knee but he changed it and never told her. He is pitiful. His breath will knock you over if you think I'm making this up just visit He is bad news.
