I am currently a patient of Dr. Khan and I am going to begin looking for a new psych. I don’t get seen for my appointment until 20-30 after the appointment time and then for each appointment I am seen for less than 5 minutes and for each appointment he has to ask me what meds I’m on and what dose. Today I had to remind him that I switched from one medication to my current medication 7 months ago. He is a nice guy and he means well but he is not someone I trust to manage my medication so I am going to look elsewhere.

Came from a crap med school and it shows. Unprofessional behavior and weak ethics are a bad mix for a doctor

Please go to any other psychiatrist you possibly can. He double books all of his patients (probably to make more money), so you can guarantee that you won't get to see him for at least half an hour after your appointment time. He is so cold and unwelcoming, I cried after every appointment because he was so mean and never seemed to understand what I was saying to him. He would put the blame on me when treatments didn't work, worsening my anxiety and rejection sensitive dysphoria (a symptom of ADHD, which he confused for Borderline Personality Disorder). He misdiagnosed me multiple times and basically tried to force me to take benzos like xanax even though I told him constantly that I didn't want them because addiction runs in my family. Worst of all, I found out that one of the medications he prescribed me interacted with my birth control, but not until I looked at the medication's website. He didn't tell me, and didn't even seem to know much about the interaction when I brought it up. How could a psychiatrist be so careless? He constantly tried to convince me to check into his mental hospital because HE couldn't figure out what's wrong with me. My symptoms were NOT EVEN CLOSE to warranting a a check-in at a psychiatric hospital. Every moment I spent at his practice was a moment wasted with misdiagnosis's and rude behavior. As soon as I went to a new psychiatrist, she knew exactly what was wrong with me in one 20 minute session. For your own sake, don't go to him.
A physician who not only cares and demonstrates this in every interaction but also a man of great knowledge and wisdom. We are so fortunate to have him as part of my family’s treatment team.

He is not kind, he must have really fooled this other person who reviewed. As a psychiatrist Dr. Kahn is extremely cold and unfriendly. In fact he doesn't even look in my direction during our 3 minute appointment. I will never go back there. I feel like an idiot for seeing him on and off for 4+ years but enough is enough. I can go to a much kinder and better doctor for my medication. During appointments, all he does is interrogate me about abusing the prescription that he prescribes, and this has gone on for years. I tell him I'm not abusing anything because I'm not, and that's the end of the appintment. He will also ask unnecessary personal questions. My girlfriend used to see Dr. Kahn and she was CONSTANTLY asked about her relationship and sex life, and no other types of questions were asked. This guy is a sick weirdo. If you are looking for a psychiatrist, do yourself and your family a HUGE favor and DO NOT SEE DR. KAHN if you want a friendly experience.
Dr Kahn is not only very knowledgeable but also extraordinarily generous with both his time and his caring. We are so fortunate to have him as part of our family’s treatment team.

Very knowledgeable, kind, caring and professional. I felt like he really understood me. Very down to earth. Willing to listen and accommodate. Willing to work with families. Very patient and dedicated.

Loved his assessment and also the fact that he truly cares about his patients. Very kind and compassionate psychiatrist . You rarely see physicians that are so dedicated to their work.

It takes a special kind of doctor to care for elderly people, who, in their final years can be forgetful and frail. Reverence for the elderly is not nearly what it should be in this Country, but doctors like Dr. Khan lead by example. The help he gave to my mother in her time of need is something I will never be able to adequately express appreciation for. I highly recommend this exemplary, kind and caring doctor.

Will spend 10-15 minutes with you for an eval and only about 5 min for consecutive appointments. I went to a new doctor that spent 2 hours with me and didn't make snap judgements after a few minutes. He's in network with most insurance but he sees probably 10 patients an hour. I usually sit in the waiting room for 45 min for a 5 minute appointment. Go somewhere else!

Dr. Khan couldn't come more highly recommended. An incomparably brilliant professional, his skill is equaled only by his kindness and dedication to his patients. This doctor is well worth any scheduling wait. They come no finer.
Dr. Khan is the best psychiatrist in the state. As a family member of a former patient, I highly recommend him.
