Dr. Siragusa is one of the best psychiatrists I have ever worked with. He is kind, compassionate and goes the extra mile for his patients. To say his treatment of patients is poor is false in fact we share many patients together and they are truly grateful for all of the hard work and dedication he has to his patients. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Dr Siragusa has been a blessing. He has been very flexible w/appts. He actually listens during our appointments, instead of just nodding & taking notes. He is helping me get my life back in order. He has helped me get off certain prescription meds. I recently was having a family crisis and reached out to him. He called me back from vacation. That speaks volumes about his character. I know even have my special needs son seeing him. I look forward to my appts with him.
Dr. Siragusa is always available to talk and give advice. Professional and helpful, a doctor that cares.
He has treated my partner and I can not say enough good words about him , Dr Siragusa is very down to earth , has excellent people skills and shows compassion and care towards the patients . Thats Very rare nowdays . Super happy with his approach and knowledge.
Dr. Siragusa is hands down one of the best Psychiatrists in New Jersey. I interviewed close to 30 doctors before working with Dr. Siragusa and he is the best in the business. The knowledge and compassion he brings to his practice is second to none.
Dr. Siragusa is extremely kind and warm hearted. I have felt understood and listened to by him in ways that other doctors I’ve seen, had yet to master. He is always on call when it comes to texting , he’ll listen even if it’s between appointments, which I find to be invaluable! He’s one of the loveliest psychiatrists I’ve had so far! 10/10 would recommend!
Dr. Siragusa is awesome. I’ve seen serval doctors over the years and have really struggled connecting with someone. He offers an open environment in which I can really express my feelings in a safe space. He’s responsive and an excellent communicator. I’ve recommended him to numerous people and will continue to do so. I can say from personal experience that my life has benefited for the positive in so many way since I started seeing Dr. Siragusa.
Personally I wouldn't recommend him. He didn't care enough to ensure that I was getting the care I needed. He frequently changed my medication even when I finally found something that worked. Final straw was when the pharmacy he sent new meds to was closed and he was unwilling to help me on a weekend. I went through withdrawal and got all my anxiety symptoms back within two days. He was rude that I contacted him on a weekend even though he was unresponsive during the week when I ran out of meds, and prescribed the new ones on a Friday. Instead of feeling more mentally stable on meds I was constantly coming on and off medications wether they worked or not. He is probably a good option if he is in your insurance and you have a previous history with psychiatry where you just need refills. If you are looking for your first psychiatrist to help you find what works best for you, I would avoid him in particular.
He is however a very down to earth and nice guy and i honestly do like him as a person but as a physician who is responsible with diagnosing and medicating me I'm honestly scared for myself based on what has happened to me in the 3 months I've been under his care. I almost feel bad leaving such a bad review but its the honest to god 100% truth couldn't make this stuff up if i tried. If all that wasn't bad enough my hospitalizations led to DCP&P involvement and i have an ongoing investigation that has been prolonged even more due to wrong medication protocols and lack of good judgement and ability to practice ethically. And a very large part in determining if i will get my daughter back any time in the near future is based on his reports to DCP&P regarding my compliance to his recommendations, which put me in a position of having no choice but to take medications that i know and he is well aware and I've verbalized many times and his own wife my therapist diagnosed as Akathisia!
He gives extreme attitude any time you disagree with him. How is that way to talk to a psych patient? He is like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde, who can make you feel very calm and switch his temper at the flip of a hat. WORST psych ever.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
