Dr. Sous herself is a great psychiatrist. She listens very attentively and has amazing insight clearly fueled by many years of experience. She is always on point and will answer any questions of mine, helping me to resolve any concerns. That being said, the organisation behind her operation leaves something to be desired. Multiple times, I have scheduled appointments with her assistant after a visit for a specific time, only to get a a call from an unknown called ID (which I don’t pick up on because it looks like a scam call), and then a voicemail message asking me to confirm my appointment for the date it was scheduled, but at a completely different time. Then I can’t call the number back because the called ID is unknown, so I call her office phone, and get voicemail, over and over again. And her voicemail is only reviewed every two or so days. There just is no way to directly contact anyone at her office, and what’s worse is the reason I have to contact them is continually about messed up appointment times. So to summarize: great psychiatrist, terrible organisation.
Dr Manal Sous has always been very helpful and understanding since I’ve been to her office. Very appreciative of her work and ability to make things convenient for others
Just wants your money, doesn’t care about you or your well-being.
Dr. Sous is very patient but also very firm.We love her.
Dr Sous is a very caring and thoughtful psychiatrist. She listens, and works with you...using your and her insights and knowledge to come up with the best treatment plans for you. She is extremely intelligent and highly analytical. I'm blessed to have found her. It is very important to question and research your doctor and what they advise. I could be dead, thanks to doctors with lack of empathy and/or inexperience in medicine. I finally have found a doctor I trust. She is a blessing to the mental healthcare field. Those that disagree, have not given her a chance.
I just read all of these reviews and I disagree with the negative comments . I have been a patient of her's for over 10 years and if it weren't for Dr. Sous, I don't know where I would be emotionally. Yes, I agree the visits are 15 to 30 minutes , she is always professional and I find her to be very helpful. Sometimes your therapist/social worker can only do so much and then you need to get on medications. That is where the where Dr. Sous and others like her come into play. Shame on all of you for bad mouthing her after one or two visits!!! She and her family has suffered a tragic loss, I remember her daughter Michelle, sitting in the waiting room doing homework and as she got older she help her mom with some of the phone calls and paperwork. Michelle was a beautiful, bright, young woman, Dr Sous raised her, that says a lot. so before you thumb you noses ant anyone, take a walk in their shoes. Dr Sous is a wonderful person and doctor. II pray for all of you negative Nellie's.
I have been seeking treatment from Dr. Sous. Under the advice of Dr. Walter Krawiec and Bergen Behavioral Wellness, my medication was increase. I developed an irregular heartbeat and was rushed to a cardiac ward when my heart went into fibrillation. Medical opinion was that this was due to the increase in medication due to the above parties.Dr. Walter Krawiec, Bergen Behavioral Wellness and Dr. Sous nearly killed me.
Dr, Sous is very abrupt and just wants to right prescriptions. Going through her own personal problems and unable to treat patients properly.
Took a full history, asked about family members, asked specific questions. I went to see her when my previous psychiatrist retired. She didn't spend a long time with me, but was thorough. She's not a therapist, so don't expect have a long session with her. She is interested in symptoms, behaviors, medical history, diagnosing and medicating. I would recommend this over having your primary care dr do all of that.
