List of Alberto Aguayo Rico's Reviews
Dr. Aguayo-Rico and his staff are phenomenal in care! As a patient that doesn't enjoy change, he has embraced all of me and keeps me grounded by listening to me and suggesting the change in a manner that doesn't feel like change at all!
I'm a PhD'd Pres Health System Specialist. On Ritalin 4 yrs to stabilize a severe neuro-illness. My PCP moved away. Then I saw Alberto... only once. He said a drug screen is needed for Ritalin A lie. Screens are for opioids. 2 wks later, he proclaimed I am a drug abuser/dealer. (Excuse me?... He falsely said I was told to do a screen STAT. That's a lie. He'd asked, "Can you do it now?" I said "No. Patients are coming to my clinic. I must go. I'll do it when I get a chance. I'm clean. Don't worry." He said, "Okay" & gave me 3-months of Ritalin rxs.) He falsely judged me and condemned my health to become disabled. Greatly distressed, I did a screen the next morning. Clean. Then on my own I did a 90-d-retro hair screen. Clean. Alberto did not care. In his imagination all that mattered was that I did not immediately obey his command (a command that he didn't make and that he has no legal/ethical right to make). Therefore I am an "abuser/dealer" and he "can't" provide the rxs that are critically necessary for my health and ability to function. A PMG clinic Manager sent my preliminary info on my situation to Patient Relations. They "unsubstantiated" my dilemma before I finished and filed a full report. They refused to let me find a new PCP for continuity of care. They referred me to the PMG Legal Department and told me to look for a doctor outside of PMG. I bumped things up two Admin-levels to a PR Manager who said she'd have the Medical Director find a doctor for me. So I hand-delivered a letter for the the Kaseman PCP Medical Director, asking him to find a new doctor for me. He never responded. All of this happened in November through December 2018... because of Alberto.

Horrible doctor. I don’t think he knows what he is doing.

A EGOMANIAC LACKING ANY COMMUNICATION SKILLS, EMPATHY AND MEDICAL TRAINING. HE IS LAZY AND DOES AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE. PHYSICAL EXAM IS ALMOST NON-EXISTANT - NO PHYSICALS - TAKES YOU OFF REQUIRED MEDS. / THINKS SUPERIOR TO ALL & DX WITHOUT EVIDENCE - HX. LACKS PATIENT MANNERS. UNABLE TO SCHEDULE URGENT APPTS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ! FIND A REAL DR.......! PRESBYTERIAN MUST BE HARD UP FOR DRS. OR MAYBE HAS LOW SALARY.
Dr. Aguayo is an excellent professional! He listens and respects my wishes when we discuss my health concerns. I prefer medicine to be a last resort so he provides alternate choices. I have recommended him to family & they are also impressed!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
