Dr Cavanaugh is an exceptional cardiologist with out standing bed side manners. Have been associated with 5 other cardiologists due to relocation and those 5 together are not as competent as Dr. Cavanaugh. He is knowledgeable, pro-active and caring. I can not say enough about Dr. Cavanaugh and his abilities and presentation. Thank you Dr. Cavanaugh for restoring my faith in the field of cardiology. Also, Sarah and Haley who work in his office are also are skilled and caring.

When I first met Dr. Cavanaugh I could not get through the appointment with out telling him he reminded me of the old television show Dr. Doogie Howser. He looked at the nurse and said "If I had a nickle for every time I heard that I would be rich". He is fun Doctor and really knows what he is talking about. He is a straight forward doctor. After he explained a plan of action, my question to him was are you sending me off to someone else and never going to see me. His replay NO! I will be with you as long as you require a heart doctor. I have found that the younger doctors are educated with the newer technology. I appreciate the personal and doctor relationship we have developed.

I have been seeing Dr. Cavanaugh since I had a heart attack at 45 then a major stroke three years later. He saved my life! He always takes the time to find out my needs even though he must have a high patient load.
