Carolyn Castillo's Online Review Report Card

First off she made us wait an hour after our appointment my mother is old and impatient and Dr castillo comes in starts reading someone else's chart when I tell her my mother didn't have some surgery that shes reading off her screen she argued with me several times til she said the patients name told her my mother's name is not the one you're looking at and she said oh , not I apologize just got an attitude and said i've being seeing people since 7am and I haven't been able to go to pee ...and that's our fault why? Very rude not recommending her to my worst enemy and by the way she must have one heck of a bladder

If you are considering scheduling with Dr. Castillo, please don't. I recently had my first (and last by choice) appt with her. I am still in shock at her rudeness, condescending attitude, unprofessional comments, inaccurate medical remarks, and touching me without first asking if it was okay or giving any warning that she would be doing so. It would have been best if I had listened to my gut instinct in the first 5 minutes that said "leave now!" and saved myself lots of time and energy. I believe it is unethical for her to continue seeing patients, and I worry about the harm she may be causing to those she is seeing now. Please read previous reviews found here and find another doctor to see.

She is a miserable person period. Her unprofessional attitude and rudeness make me wonder about her qualifications. You are an embarrassment.

Failed to provided needed care, ignored requests and became angry when I asked for help. I ended up in the hospital due to her negliance. Stay away from her

I am a 78 year old woman. I had a first appointment with her at 1:30 and was told when I arrived that she was running an hour and a half late. I chose to wait. When she finally came in the room an hour and a half later, I was standing as sitting for too long hurts my hip and back. She walked in, pointed to the chair and said “sit,” (am I a dog?). She started asking questions about my health which I answered , then she asked about supplements that I take and when I didn’t know the answers to how much vitamin k is in one, which Ca compound I am taking? She gave me a disgusted look. Her next few questions were very sarcastic, “ I suppose you don’t know……” She then accused me of having an attitude to which I replied “you walked in here with an attitude and I don’t appreciate it. You are running late and never bothered to apologize.” She then turned from her computer shaking her arms at me and yelled “I have been seeing patients since seven o’clock this morning and I am tired!” I replied, “that somehow becomes my problem?” I picked up my things and walked out in tears. NEVER have I been treated like that by a Dr! I am an RN and never treated nor would I treat a patient that way! I would say to anyone considering going to her… DON’T!!! She needs to leave her problems at home!

She diagnosed my problem without benefit of listening to me, or using any diagnostic tests. She was rude, sat in from of a computer the whole time. Has no relational skills. I came away thinking she was an unhappy, mean spirited woman I would never be comfortable discussing medical issues with! BIG WASTE OF MY TIME!

Not a good experience with Dr. Castillo. Cancelled on me twice and not available for 6 months. More importantly, when I got Covid, she wouldn’t give me Paxlovid because I did not have recent bloodwork. Told me to rest, drink fluids, take Tylenol. Duh. Got paxlovid from another provider with no blood work!

Rude, doesn’t listen, inaccurate,obviously overworked. Very unprofessional. When confronted with her unprofessionalizim or her mistakes she gets really upset will yell . Rude rude rude needs to retire not go to a new office/location only will cause more damage to patients. She really doesn’t care and she will let you know , she is very verbal about it . I hope these are not just reviews I hope she get reprimanded in some way she really is horrible worst experience ever
