Totally useless. Blew off appontments with no apology.
Dr. Carter is the worst doctor I have ever had. He does not care about his patients and shows no compassion. I have been suffering with Ulcerative Colits and have been seeing him for 5 months. I have not been getting better and have been in major pain. He does not believe is Holistic medicine and will make you feel dumb if you bring it up. For example: I told him I was getting acupuncture for inflammation and he said well that is wrong and I said weird it is listed on Mayo’s website as an alternative medicine for ulcerative colitis and inflammation. I have met others who have seen great results from it. He has no knowledge of foods and gut health. He will only push pharmaceuticals down your throat. He also prescribed me the wrong dosage. I am suppose to take a pill once a day and his office wrote the pharmacy to take it 4 times a day. I called another doctor to confirm what is correct and they said OMG only once a day. Please do not see this doctor.
I hope you don’t die under this arrogant pricks care!
Probably the rudest doctor I have ever met. He is very arrogant and does not believe in anything that is not traditional medicine. If you have tried anything holistic be prepared to be treated like garbage and inferior. He will argue with you and instead of trying to understand you he will do what he can to prove he is superior in his knowledge. I do not suggest going to him what-so-ever.
Dr. Carter is a terrible doctor. He is now in Albuquerque NM. Sad!
Terrible bedside manner. Not thorough, is burned out or has a short attention span- I say this because he jumps to conclusions too fast.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
