She was okay when I first started seeing her several years ago, but recently she and her staff ignored me when I needed some tests done to rule out autoimmune as a possible diagnosis to an ongoing problem with my foot since late January. Not only did it take forever for her to "agree" to the tests, then her staff twice did not send all the results to UNM so that I could get an appointment with rheumatology. UNM had to call the office themselves in order to get them to fax over the entire set of test results.

Dr. Holly Couture Do saw me for severe back It's an On going issue I have. She gave me a shot for inflammation and a muscle relaxer shot. I was hurting bad. She also ordered xrays. Follow up required.

My mother has been seeing Dr. Couture for years, she is 84 years old and saw the Dr. in January, had blood tests done. As it turns out my mother was diagnosed with Stage Kidney disease and the Dr. never informed her. She didn't find out until late May when she had a kidney infection. Terrible in my opinion.

I really like Dr. Couture. I also usually show up with multiple concerns and she has always addressed them patiently. Some have required lab work or a referral to a specialist or a change in prescription. She always has lab requests and referrals done before I leave and she phones in any new prescription. Besides seeming to be genuinely interested, she has a great sense of humor and laughs a lot which puts me at ease. First thing I check when picking insurance plans is that she is one of their providers.

Holly is extremely unprofessional. I went to see her for weight problems. Before even seeing me or listening to the medical issues I have had she said outside the door to the nurse “ha she probably eats too much like everyone else!” She then proceeded into the room where I called her out on it and she was rude, couldn’t look at me and showed extreme lack of knowledge about my medical history. Do not go to her!!!
