List of Drew K. Newhoff's Reviews
Dr. Newhofff performed surgery on my hand earlier this year. Despite my efforts to elicit details about the procedure prior to the surgery, I found him to be remote and dismissive. Follow up appointment was even more dismissive of my concerns.
I had a very positive experience with Dr. Newhoff. He did a carpel tunnel release in my right hand and the procedure has alievated the numbness in my fingers. I had some hesitation prior to my procedure and Dr. Newhoff called me personally to answer all the questions I had about the procedure. I am happy with the results and with Dr. Newhoff. I would high recommend him.
I had a very positive experience with Dr. Newhoff. He did an endoscopic release on my right hand for carpel tunnel syndrome. Dr. Newhoff made a fairly quick diagnosis of my symptoms and said he was sure surgery would alleviate my issues, but also provided 2 other options for treatment. I elected for surgery. In the days leading up to my procedure I began to get nervous. I contacted Dr. Newhoff's assistant to express my hesitation. About an hour after my email to his assistant Dr. Newhoff called me personally to answer all of the questions I had. He listened to me, made suggestions and even offered to refer me for a second opinion. I kept my surgery date and I am happy to report that the endoscopy was successful. My Carpel tunnel symptoms were improved within a day, and two weeks out from the surgery I am functioning well. I would recommend working with Dr. Newhoff.
Dr. Newhoff was awesome! I badly needed carpal tunnel release surgery and Dr. Newhoff did an excellent job. He was very respectful of my wishes, and his nurse always responded quickly to any messages I left with questions. Though Dr. Newhoff may not have the most bubbly personality, he is very good at what he does. I would personally rather have a doctor who can make me better than one who can comfort me and my feelings. In my experience, I would 100% recommend Dr. Newhoff any day. Thank you, Dr. Newhoff, for vastly improving my quality of life!
Dr. Newhoff administered shots in both my left & right thumb/wrist joint for severe degeneration of that particular joint. I must say the shots were not very pleasant. But I was fore warned by the Doc himself. The 1st set of injections lasted aprox. 60 days. (PLEASE NOTE INSURANCE WILL ONLY PROVIDE INJECTION OF THAT TYPE EVERY 90 DAYS.) The 2nd round lasted a little longer. The 3rd round was back in Sept. of 2019, and to my surprise, still keeping me pain free. When I first visited Dr. Newhoff, I was in so much pain I could not hold a pencil with either hand. Now I imagine the outcome I experienced is not typical, but worth noting. I believe Dr. Newhoff knew exactly where to inject me and with the correct dose and correct medicine that would best suite my pain level, injury and age. Thank You Dr. Drew. I've been pain free for over 8 months now. I will be calling if and when I start to have issues again.
Dr. Newhoff helped me by removing a bone growth on my little finger that was starting to painfully rub against my other finger and interfere with everyday activities. He listened to my wishes and efficiently reviewed the options and risks of surgery at my first appointment. The out-patient surgery went very well, and I experienced little to no pain. Healing was quick, and after 4 weeks I am already nearly back to normal activity.
Dr Knewhoff did cubital tunnel release the day of the he never came back to explain how the surgery went never talked to my wife after surgery to give her any updates or results. After a week ended up in the ER due to severe pain in the elbow my wife and I made several attempts to contact him never could reach him and neither could the ER final result from surgery permanent nerve damage to ulnar nerve affecting the use of my right hand Would not recommend
Got me in quickly. Have full use of my hand 6 weeks after surgery.
While Doctor Newhoff may be very well educated and highly efficient, he was much too quick to diagnose my hand injury as carpal tunnel and to say surgery was the only option. Somehow I think two minutes isn’t enough time to make a proper diagnosis and of course he wanted me to have surgery, that’s how he makes his money! This man showed ZERO compassion and treated me like a “thing” to be “fixed” for the purpose of generating more income. You’re FIRED, dude!
Made a too quick diagnosis of carpal tunnel and jumped to the conclusion that surgery was my only option. He treated me like a “thing” to be “fixed” for the purpose of maximizing his income. I am a living, breathing, sentient human being who deserves respect and compassion and therefore wil not be going back.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
