Dr. Knause has been treating me for approximately 3 years. He is very astute and knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for a better Orthopedic doctor. I have shopped around looking for someone in his field that I can trust and feel comfortable with to give me the proper diagnosis as well as treatment. He is honest and has a great personality, easy to talk with and ask questions. Provides honest answers and doesn't rush you out of his office.

I was very impressed with Dr Knaus, he is very knowledgeable on back issues. He called me at home to discuss an issue that came up on one of my tests. I was impressed that he took time after hours to let me know about this situation. I feel like I have his attention 100% when I go in for an appointment. Plus he is a very nice and professional gentleman. As for the practice on a whole, I have seen several doctors at NM Orthopedics for different problems. The staff in the different areas are consistently professional, helpful and pleasant, both administrative and clinical.

Dr. Knaus quite possibly the best bedside manner of any physician I've seen in my over 50 years of doctors appointments. He is attentive and thorough. He carefully weighs out the best course of action for my care. I never feel rushed by him. He has even taken interest in mental health therapies that I have told him have helped reduce my pain. An openess to a mind body connection isn't easy to come by in an.MD. I highly recommend him!
