This was my final appointment with Dr. Garcia. He, as always, did an excellent job and I will forever be grateful and appreciative of him and what he does.

Great doctor but his affiliation with Optum health is a huge drawback. Tried to schedule an appointment today and was told he’s no longer my primary care doctor because I haven’t come in in three years. No notification was made that I was going to be dropped. Attempted to schedule a new patient visit and was told it would be 6 to 9 months out. Optum health is a joke.

Best Doctor ever! He is soo smart, he is thorough, he is kind, and he always makes you feel like he cares. He asks about your kids/ family and He knows what he is doing. It is because of him that i keep coming back to the Optum facility!

DR. GARCIA DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS OWN PATIENT'S HE JUST INSTERSTING IN $ AND HE DO WHAT HE THINKS HE WANTS FOR U OR HE WILL TAKE YOURS MEDICATIONS OR HE WILL MESS AROUND WITH THE DOSES SHAME ON THIS DOCTOR. U SHOULDN'T BE A DOCTOR IF U NOT GOING TO LISTEN TO YOUR OWN PATIENT'S. HE DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH HIS PATIENTS HE ALWAYS ON HIS COMPUTER. AND HE ALWAYS LATE I MEAN LATE LATE 15 MINS. Garcua will act like he god and controls his patients while himself don't give a shi* about us..

So, I think I think highly of Dr. Garcia as he listens and says the right things. My gripe I think is with Davita. I call yearly and clearly request a yearly physical. I further explain that this is specifically to get blood work so that the doctor can represcribe maintenance medication. From this description, through my insurance including blood work should be at no cost to me. Somehow, this is immediately changed to the office visit code and I end up with a bill in excess of $100 and since that code is passed on to the blood work place, I get a $50 charge from them. This bait and switch seems pervasive in the industry as the same thing has happened at Southwest Medical associates and the same thing at my girlfriend's provider. No amount of conversation between my insurance and me or Davita and me got anywhere. The blood work people refunded $40 of the $50, but not DaVita. They SAID I wouldn't be charged then picked my pocket by taking it from an account provided by my employer for taking a yearly health assessment. I would never have known if my insurance hadn't told me or if I'd have tried to use it for a later visit. Shame on Davita. BTW the doctors own electronic notes said it was a yearly exam. They let the accountants rediagnose me. Bad provider! BAD!

A Dr. that actually listens to your needs and concerns. Had to switch insurances recently to keep him, well worth it. Have been a long term patient since he was at the Montgomery/Wyoming Devita.
