List of Jacqueline Dean's Reviews
I have recently started with Dr. Dean and so far, if they had 6 stars I would give her that. Dr. Dean is very professional and quite personable. I appreciate that she seems to be very open and seems really interested in my well being. I have learned more about my treatment and possibilities for optimizing it from just one visit than what I had gotten from my previous Rheumatologist in years.
I love Dr Dean. She is caring, a good listener, never rushes me. She takes very good care of my R.A.. God bless her.
She's the best and most knowledgeable in town. And she is nice too. I had a rather disastrous experience with another rheumatologist in town, and Dr. Dean was a wonderful contrast. She knows her field, and she tries to deliver the best care to her patients. She also knows how anxiety-provoking these illnesses can be, and her calm, reassuring demeanor is greatly appreciated. You know you are in good hands!
Dr. Dean was great at first, but that was >6yrs ago. Expect to get dropped like a hot potato if you've been taking any pain meds or muscle relaxers for awhile to function! I was thrown to the wolves with ZERO support to get off all addictive pain meds at once this year, due to her reckless negligence. Will not return. I've been unable to function since; I am now on disability, & had to file bankruptcy. I was truly functional while on my meds; working full time with a high income, before she made this drastic change. She forced me into a situation of disability, pushing me to become a drain on society, vs being a productive taxpayer (no more Plaquenil means no more ME - that little pill is my life ins with lupus.) But whatever's easiest for you, Doc! Why would you ever stop all my meds 100%, cold turkey, including immunosuppressants? (Is she literally trying to take me out??) "DO NO HARM" is as dead as the entire medical profession/health care is in this country. What a cruel JOKE.
I've been a patient of Dr Dean's for the last 6 years. She has been the most intelligent, caring, helpful, thoughtful doctor I have ever had. I've gone through a lot of autoimmune issues and its been a roller coaster but she has been a huge support. In the appointment, she also takes the time to explain and help you in a calm manner.
Highly professional. Changed my life. Went above and beyond.b

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Dean for over 10 years and we trust her more than any other doctor we have met so far! She takes the time to listen to what's happening in our lives that has a direct effect on our overall health and makes suggestions on what to change or improve on to keep us in less pain and more active as we not so graciously grow older! I would highly recommend Dr. Dean!
I have been a patient of Dr. Dean's for apprx. 10 years. She is the 2nd rheum Dr. that I've seen in Abq. She is truly thoughtful when listening to her patients which is evident in her responses and treatment planning. I've experienced her to be holistic in her approach; understanding & integrating all aspects of health, not just a myopic focus on rheumatology. Great clinical skills & a great sense of humor!
Walked into the exam room. Did no exam had no lab work or X-rays. Just looked at me and said you don’t have RA, you are just fat. Thank you. I wouldn’t have known I was fat without your diagnosis. How come my fingers are twisted?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
