List of Kader Abdelerahman's Reviews
He did a very complete examination. He explained my options and was very caring.
My appointments with Dr. Rahman have been very thorough, thoughtful, helpful and professional. I will continue to be followed by him for the diagnosis of neuropathy.
I have a very rare and incurable nureomuscular condition and went to Dr. Kader T Abdelerahman MD's office to consult with him about it. I found he and his staff to be very professional and compassionate. "Dr Rahman" was very knowledgeable about my condition and carried out his exam with compassion and the utmost professionalism. "Dr Rahman" also went the extra mile to help me obtain some durable goods that I needed to help manage my condition. I would recommend "Dr Rahman" to anyone who is need of a top neurologist for any neurological condition!
This Dr misdiagnosed me with MS after not reviewing my MRI scans and lying to me about how many lesions in had in my brain, which was none. He couldn't tell me how many because he'd not spent the time to actually look. He wanted to hurry me into taking dangerous medications for no reason for MS that could have damaged me. A top neurologist at UNM sent me for another MRI and reviewed the scans with me. He told me I was misdiagnosed and did not have MS. Stay away from Dr AbdeleRahman.
Had neuro eval for periheral neuropathy caused by Lovastatin drg. He very defensive and debated my side effects from Lovastatin. FDA has labeled the drug can cause PN. So the visit was less than friendly. I as given no treatment options, and the eval report related one word to "pain", which is debilitating expecially when war on 5 mg of an opiod. This axonal nerve damage has caused much pain. One word "pain" entered. He refused further assist with eval when asked for support to get adequate pain medication. His eval did mention it, but protective of doctor neglect who told me to quit calling with my side effects and take my statin! Try getting pain med when doctors cause the problem. Really hard as they do not want to admit doctors and their prescritions have caused the damage. Their records part of the cover up. Statin drugs can kill. Rabdomylosis, as it was developing and had I not found in European Medical journal years ago I would not be here now. Quit it without seeing the prescribing doctor as she said not to call her anymore with my complaints. She is Loveless doctor. They keep my complaints out of their reports.
I met this Doctor on a tele conference for the first time. He is very knowledgeable, and took the time to review my medical history. While my conference dealt with many years of challenges, he had a clear plan for what I need to do now and what his aim is for the future.
He Listened to my concerns and explained my condition and possible resolutions. He was quite thorough and friendly. He showed some sympathy for my pain and worry.
I have been a chronic sufferer of severe migraines my entire life and have seen neurologists since I was 13 years old. Moreover, I have never written a review for any service I have received. However, Kader AbdeleRahman, MD and his staff was far and away the most professional, kind, compassionate and efficient medical treatment I have I received in Albuquerque. Dr. AbdeleRahman called back or responded to emails immediately, looked for other options and solutions to my medical challenges and would even coordinate with my pharmacy to help me when my medications were in short supply due to a gap insurance. His nursing staff and front desk was always quick, courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this office and Kader AbdeleRahman, MD.
Dr. Rahman refused to diagnose my husband with hydrocephalus. A second neurologist diagnosed him and referred him to a neurosurgeon who placed a shunt in my husband's head. Placed a complaint with Lovelace Medical Group.
Took me well over a month to see this Dr after an Emergency Room visit. Having debilitating brain "episodes" that hinder my ability to walk when they escalate. I don't feel I even had the chance to fully explain all that has happened and is happening to me, that is hindering my living. I was told it's anxiety/panic attack. I do NOT have anxiety problems. Panic attack per Mayo Clinic: panic attack is a sudden episode of intense fear that triggers severe physical reactions--wish I cd write more

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
