List of Kari Babinski's Reviews
He is an amazing Doctor. He performed one TKR, and no infection post-surgery, took great care and concern being I live over 4 hours from Albq. Now, I am in the process of building strength on my right knee, so I can have the other done asap so I can walk!! GREAT doctor and staff.
Highly recommended!! Great Dr.
I completely severed two of my four major rotator cuff tendons and tore my bicep tendon. I waited too long (3 months) to have surgery. The severed tendons were retracted. Dr Babinski was able to put me back together. After a year I'm functional, but still am weak in that shoulder. Considering the severity of the injury and my age, I think Dr Babinski did a very good job
First, Dr. Babinski treats you like a person and not condescending in anyway. He explains everything in plain English and takes the time to listen and answer any questions. As far as surgery, my knee is doing great and I don’t anticipate any issues. I highly recommend Dr. Babinski.
Great service
Rotator cuff tear surgery. Great work.
I had my initial visit with him about my knees. He was able to view the exrays that had already been done before and clearly saw the problem. He explained the full knee replacement. Together we chose which knee to do first. When I asked about certain materials used in the replacements he explained the differences. I felt VERY comfortable with his knowledge and ability to put me at ease. I'm one of those people who will question just about anyone, even if they have decades of experience. LOL! He's very professional and helpful. The staff at New Mexico Orthopedics are all very kind and helpful. Thank you so much! I look forward to the surgery because it will help me get back to being more active.
He did a good job on my shoulder replacement. He could be more thorough in communications, but he will answer your questions, is a very nice guy, and is respected in the local medical community. I have been happy with my shoulder since surgery, and it works as well or better than I anticipated.
I had a complete rotator cuff, bicep and labrum tear on my left shoulder that was repaired by Dr. Babunski. Not only did he repair the mess I had made of my shoulder I was back at work (lifting) two months earlier than projected. Dr. Babinski even went as far as to take the time to find my wife in the waiting room and explain the process to her easing her nerves. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone who may need this type of surgery. Great doctor.
Dr. Babinski is overwhelmed with the # of patients he & his partners try to serve. After talking with 5 other people, (3 office staff) and 2 X-ray staff, he didn't take my painful right knee pain seriously. I had fallen and my right knee cap hit the edge of a brick on my steps hard. My Physical Therapy person said that my knee cap was "tracking to the left," but none of the 4 doctors I went to, including Dr. B, had figured this out. After 4 months, I still get aching, stabbing pains in the knee cap area, and have to use a cane for walking. I understand that I have arthritis, but this pain is not that. He never mentioned that I need to lose weight for the arthritis, nor did he mention the arthritis. He gave me no diagnosis. I guess one has to ask for that, and I will from now on.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
