Update Wishing Dr Adams OD a healthy happy retirement! Saw the closure on the website. Old Review. Very long wait first thing in the morning. Dr. Calls waiting room the living room. Staff and assistant were very nice, but the doctor was gruff and stressed. The doctor rewashed gloves instead of changing them. I was given a first appointment, but he was over an hour late. The equipment was outdated in terms of what Albuquerque has to offer. The doctor was non verbal. I was told I would be seen at the end of my appointment but the staff told me he would call me at the end of the day he didn’t. I appreciate that the staff was so helpful and great, but the doctor needs to be adequate.

I was very pleased with my association with Dr. Adams. His competence was beyond question and he quietly went about his examinations of my eyes. He also took time to get to know me and we would chat briefly on occasions. He involved me in my treatment with explanations and answering questions. I will miss my visits to his office and wish him all the best wherever he goes.

We went to take our daughter to Family/Children's Eye Care on Martin Luther King and they weren't very helpful with our daughter. They kept pushing appoiment after appoiment. So we took her to Kenneth Addams and he already got her to work with him on her first day and ever since then she always corporate with him. It's sad to see Kenneth leave and wish we could've worked with him more in the future.

Dr. Adams is closing his office this month (Feb. 2023) and is referring patients elsewhere.

Just posting this review so we can get a clear answer why this keyboard warrior closed his practice with very little notice. Not surprised to hear his practice is closing given some of the negative reviews on here. Curious with this sudden closure whether we need to get previous concerns rechecked with a different provider.

Dr. Adams and his amazing staff recently saved us from nights of worry and sleeplessness. They were AMAZING at getting us quick help, for our 4yr old son. Dr. Adams offered his years of expertise, bedside manner, and full suite of tools/toys... toward ensuring he was okay. Even 2x checking areas of serious concern through more than 1 method. All so we could walk away without worry. THANK YOU!!! Dr.Adams & your kind/very-friendly staff :) Really. You're a gift to this world, much appreciated.
