List of Mark Bryniarski's Reviews
Dr. Mark Bryniarski is an outstanding neurosurgeon who is very intelligent and knows the brain very well. He performed brain surgery for removal of a cavernous malformation on the brain stem on my husband 2 months ago. He then had to do a 2nd emergency brain surgery the next day due to the development of Hydrocephalus. He saved my husband's life. He kept close contact on my husband during recovery and updated me daily. He was always open for any questions I had. 2 months later, my husband, who has been through 2 brain surgeries has a longer recovery and still in the hospital. He is close to going to rehabilitation. Dr. Bryniarski continues to follow up on his progress and contact me for updates. We decided to choose Dr. Bryniarski to perform the surgery because of his extensive education background and many years of experience. I can tell he has compassion in his career and cares a lot about his patients. I highly recommend him for brain surgery.

This Dr. if he actually is one is a joke. Spent more time in his waiting room then in the patient’s room. Bed side manner=none, his words exactly, “Medicine is not a perfect science” told me no more than what was on my MRI test results. What a joke!
Dr. Bryniarski practices in Albuquerque, NM now. If you are lucky enough to be referred to him, be glad! He is kind of a big deal! He is trained in neurology, neurosurgery, and vascular surgery. He has a great reputation in the hospital. He did a discectomy on me, and my results are excellent! The incision is beautiful. I am very happy! Now I realize that he is a bit overqualified to have done my relatively simple surgery. He has a dry sense of humor that I very much enjoy! He's also cute!
Dr. Bryniarski is amazing! I was very nervous about my discectomy, and I lucked out being referred to Dr. Bryniarski. He is incredibly qualified - in neurology, neurosurgery, and vascular surgery, so he's got you covered in all areas. My surgery went great! I'm getting great results already. The incision is beautiful. Very good surgery. Very good surgeon. Dry sense of humor and very busy doctor, so expect the things that go along with that. I'm so grateful to have been referred to Dr. Bryniarski!
Excellent Doctor. All of you whiners out there should realize that a good brain surgeon saves our lives and should not be expected to win a personality contest!
Dr. Bryniarski is a horrible human being. I went to him for brain surgery to remove a brain tumor. He was unaware of the symptoms of a brain tumor. He didn't mind when the nurse "caring" for me in the hospital immediately after surgery refused to provide me with pain medication because she "didn't want to get yelled at." When I went to see his PA a week after surgery to get my staples removed from my head, the PA also refused to provide me with medication, accusing me of faking my pain. I reported this occurrence to the hospital adminstrators, who did an "investigation" that showed that no wrongdoing occurred. Dr. Bryniarski had already told me his PA was wrong to refuse to medicate me. I asked why, then, the investigation yielded this outcome, and he very nonchalantly told me that he lied in the investigation, covering for his PA becuase he did not want to lose him. He was under investigation by the New Mexico Board of Medicine for this for seven months in 2017-2018. I would strongly urge anyone who has a brain tumor to find someone else. I am flabbergasted that he is employed in the field of medicine. I have never met a doctor who is so terrible towards other people. I think he is on the autism specturm as well because he has horrible people skills and is in denial about this and other things. He doesn't have a nurse and the woman who works as his medical assistant is a disgrace. Meeting with him was by far the worst experience with a medical "professional" I have ever had in my life.
Dr. Bryniarski performed a three-level cervical decompression on my neck and sawed off the existing bone spurs. I had exhausted all other therapies and my Neurologist had advised that I needed to pursue surgery as soon as possible. The surgery was very successful and my symptoms were improved dramatically the day of surgery. I did not take antibiotics after treatment and the incision has healed amazingly well. I continue to improve my neck flexibility and anticipate a full recovery in three to six months. Dr. Bryniarski was patient in answering all my questions pre- and post-op and his staff was always responsive. I highly recommend him.
Went in for a consult. He read my report & scan incorrectly. Abruptly handed me the papers. Asking me to show him on the report why I was there. I did. He then left the room with my CD to check it again. He was also two hours late for my appointment. Had me in tears. Most Neurosurgeons are so rude. It’s ridiculous.
Dr Bryniarski really saved me. I had a brain Tumor and he did the surgery. He is a wonderful Doctor and a caring Physician. I think he is a credit to the Medical Profession.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
