He didn't listen to what you have to say and would rather treat text book symptoms rather than the actual person. The surgery was a horrible experience they blew out both veins in both hands. I had panic after that they were cold and told me I needed to stop it like I wanted panic then when I couldn't they told me I could leave! I told Dr Patton he says he didn't have time to hear things like that that's not his job and they were dealing with things that rarely happen like anxiety...I stopped him to tell tell him it's not unusual but if you are saying something he doesn't want to hear he talks over you. Her never called in a pain medication after the surgery like he told me he was going to pre-op. Instead I had to call the office the next day repeatedly till they finally did. They don't return calls. He's not a good choice if you have one. If I could go back I would definetly choose another Dr.
Nice man. Does not know much on Dupuytrens. After surgery I’m still on the table and he’s chatting with nurses. Never wrapped things up with me. The surgery team was a nightmare. Nurses stuck me 9 times. I’m an RN. I know I have decent veins. Also was charged over $5000 for anesthesia and only received a block and one small dose of sedation. Before surgery I sat on stretcher for hours. He saved me for last. I’ve never given a low rating like this. Perhaps if I had a different condition I would have a different perception. Surgery was expensive and didn’t help.
I was very apprehensive about the treatment for my hands ( ie shots in the palms) but he took time to make it less painful.
He thoroughly explained what was going on with my issue. He also explained the treatment and allowed me to choose. I opted for the second treatment which was quick and almost stress free. He is awesome!
I pushed too hard at the rock climbing gym causing scarring and inflammation to a tendon on my right thumb; my dominant hand. After months of dealing with my thumb locking up and pain while working out and performing simple tasks, I consulted with Dr. Patton. I opted for surgery because physical therapy was not solving my problem. He performed a tendon release procedure on my wrist. It is now a few weeks post-op and I have returned to my active lifestyle PAIN FREE. Thanks Dr. Patton!
He is an amazing doctor . Highly reccomend.
Clearly stated the problem, positive engagement on repairing the problem. Dr Patton was very thorough and so confident in the repair. He did the surgery and absolutely took post surgery pain levels into account to and prepared me for the least discomfort possible. He smiles, which is a little unusual for an ortho surgeon and had excellent bedside mannerisms. I am so glad I went to him instead of ANYONE else. Great medical assistant Cheyane. She was cheerful and reassuring.
When I came back into see him, he was explaining what needed done during my surgery. What he didn't realize was that I was there for my surgical follow-up that he had already done the surgery. I thought he was very arrogant and didn't seem to really care
Super great results from hand surgery!
He spent time and treated me with respect. Explained all procedures perfectly.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
