List of Neal Shadoff's Reviews
The decisions made by Dr. Shadoff in 1989 have kept me alive and happy. Conservative treatment rather jumping to surgery was perfect. Thank you, Dr. Shadoff. Lyndell Brickley
I called Dr Shadoff's office when a CT scan of my spine revealed an aortic aneurism. Within 20 minutes he had looked at the scan and called me back to tell me that it was not significant enough to have serious worries about it and schedulled me for a followup in 2 weeks. This kind of rare followup is the hallmark of a great cardiologist -- who recognizes the importance of responding quickly so that his patient doesn't have to experience undue anxiety. I also liked the fact that when I first met him, in the emergency room, he asked me if I wanted to observe as he placed a stent in my artery. I did. And it was a solid introduction to Dr. Shadoff's professionalism and self-confidence. Again, just what you want in a cardiologist.
I have been seeing Dr. Shadoff for more than 25 years, and my mother saw him as well. He is, in my opinion, one of the best if not THE best cardiologists in Albuquerque. I visit him once a year because I have done as he suggested and things are going pretty good.
Dr Shadoff is the most caring, professional MD I have ever met. He looks at the "total picture", never in a rush and never in a rush to diagnose until he has all the facts and other factors considered. He is not an alarmist. I have literally place my life in his (and God's)capable hands three times. Needless to say I trust him with my life.
Really easy to talk to. Listens and really seems to care about your needs. Office staff seem overworked and busy. Hard to get an appointment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
