Thorough and professional. The entire office is very organized.

Have been seeing the doctor for about 3 years. I found Dr Stoerner compassionate and willing to work hard to find the right drug for me. Unfortunately, their on-site infusion room has really gone downhill from my original visits. I recommend nurses receive remedial training on compassion and IV insertions. Sadly seeking treatment elsewhere.

I went to Dr. Stoerner several years ago due to widespread pain and some joint pain that I wanted evaluated, suspicious of fibromyalgia and/or arthritis. He completely dismissed my concerns and said that the patients that he sees are VERY sick, implying that I was not sick nor was my pain syndrome real. I left feeling invalidated. I went on to suffer for years with increasing pain, chronic fatigue and development of new symptoms. It wasn't until last year in 2020, that I was diagnosed with Lyme disease after a positive Lyme test. And it turns out in 2001, I was positive for Lyme on the western blot but was never told about it nor treated, resulting in several years of becoming increasingly ill and in constant pain. I would not recommend this doctor. He does not look for the root cause of people's medical maladies, such as in my case. And unfortunately many people with rheumatological diagnoses often have underlying Lyme or other infections triggering their autoimmune conditions. Per the CDC, Lyme is found in every state and diagnoses are increasing rapidly per year, often causing debilitating symptoms and disability. Lyme patients are VERY sick. Don't waste you time or money on this one.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stoerner for many years. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He is a bit scary at first but I have gotten used to him. He has always taken a strong interest in my case and knows it back to front. Very comforting when when you a complicated diagnosis and as well as multiple diagnosis. I highly recommend Dr. Stoerner. He is an outstanding physician. (Even if he comes off as a scary guy sometimes)

I have been Dr. Stoerner's patient for over five years and have always found him willing to go the extra mile to research and treat the complicated overlap of symptoms from my auto-immune diseases. He takes time to call me when he has results of important tests and spends a great deal of in-office time to answer my questions and address my concerns.

I went in and was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and EDS. The Dr. didn’t even do a blood test for EDS (There is one available!) He refused to believe I grew up where there was Lyme disease and that I had it as a child. (I grew up in Tennessee!). I was born in another state and moved when I was 1 or 2, so for some reason, no matter what I said, he wouldn’t believe I knew where I grew up. He was trying to say I had symptoms I simply didn’t have for EDS. I looked at the diagnostic criteria for it. I just do NOT have any signs of it! I do for Fibromyaligia and he did give me meds, so that’s good, but I called back a couple months later asking if he’d write the diagnosis for me so I could take it to my primary care who can give me referrals to Pain Management. (It has to come from the PCP.) He refused saying, “He doesn’t know for sure I have it, so he won’t say I do.” I literally can’t get care because he refused to say it...after he already told me that I did and even gave me meds for it! I won’t go to a Dr. who doesn’t feel confident in his care and refuses the help I feel I need. He was nice and took his time so I’ll give an extra star for that.

Came for appt. for hip pain. I wanted a referral for a physical therapist. He asks if I’d brought the x-rays that he failed to order. I’d called him weeks before letting him know that there were no orders for x-rays, so I could get them done. Besides what patient brings x-rays to an appt., they are sent. He was lying to me. Pretty arrogant. I wanted a referral to see a physical therapist. He said he’d be back in town the next week. So I paid and the insurance company paid for a useless appt. and after he ordered the x-rays. I got them done and then called a week or so later for the results and most importantly a simple referral for a physical therapist. No reply. I called two more times no reply. I called my insurance company and explained that I was getting no reply. They suggested that I go to Stoerner’s office. I did. I saw an office administrator. I explained I needed a referral. The next week no reply I called her. No reply. I did receive a written evaluation by mail stating I had arthritis. But no referral for a physical therapist. No contact was made by anyone there to help me with my request. Incompetent.

Dr. Stoerner is a great listener, took his time understanding my symptoms and asking questions. he got my pain under control in less than a year when other Doctors had tried for years. would recommend him.
