I love Dr. Refsland. He is truly a Professional & friendly. Never feel like I'm being rushed. Now and then the wait is longer than it should be but that happens with all doctors. I don't mind waiting for good care.

Dr Refsland is very friendly and talked to me like a person rather than a patient. He explained my situation in easy to understand terms and gave me options. We agreed on an option (steroid injection) for now to see how things progress. He took his time and didn't seemed to be rushed. In all, a very positive experience.

I saw Dr. Refsland a few times for my wrist throughout a year. At first he didn’t really think much was wrong and recommended a shot and occupational therapy. Neither worked and he administered the shot in an imprecise way. After finally doing an MRI, he gave three options for surgery, two of which were for an issue I didn’t even have. I would recommend you steer clear of this incompetent doctor.

I saw this doctor On 5/28/2020 for a wrist injury and he did not say much except tell me I had only two options, steroid shots and wear a brace for the rest of my life or a wrist fusion. This brought me to the lowest point in my life when he told me this. I don’t think he is the best that NM ortho has to offer if that’s all he could offer based on all the wrist options I have researched online.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I waited 1.5 hours my first visit. The doctor (Dr. Refsland) saw me for literally 2 minutes. Tried to get an MRI apt, booked out two months. Finally got one, follow up with doctor one month booked out. Got to the follow up appointment and had to wait over an hour. HORRIBLE and they don't care at all. Never go here.

Dr. Resfland is a true professional. If I could give Dr' Resfland a thousand stars, I would. For the first time in years, my arms are pain free after two 10-15 minute operations. Doc, may God Bless You, your Family and your team.

I was looking for an orthopedic doctor to look at my left hand. Ive had chronic carpal tunnel and pushed off seeing a specialist. I saw Dr. Refsland and was instantly put at ease. I hate doctors and hospitals so comfort level with a person with a white coat on was key for me. He explained everything to me in language I could understand I highly recommend him for any hand issues.

Dr. Refsland was attentive, and listened to me. It was just nice to finally see a doc that didn't rush me out the door. I was seeing him for my right hand problems. The office staff was nice too.
