I have Humana and Medicare Ins. After checking ratings on Gyn’s, I called Dr. S. Gough’s office, when I told whomever answered the phone I had Humana, I was immediately told Dr. Gough was not taking new pt. until July. The Loveless site says Dr. G is taking new pts., and if not until late summer I suggest the Loveless site needs to be up-dated. I’m sorry Humana pts. are not currently welcome, ...

Dr Gough is the most professional, calm, and expert obstetrician I have ever encountered. I have been present at the birth of my own children and many others as a paramedic, and I feel Dr. Gough sets the bar all other OB Drs should strive to be like. I adore Dr. Gough. After being diagnosed with a grapefruit sized cyst between my ovaries, I saw two female OBGYNs with whom I felt incredibly mismanaged and patronized. A friend recommended Dr. Gough and his manner and sincerity was a breath of fresh air. He has treated me for years ever since and will be my chosen provider as long as I am able.

I like Dr. Gough. However, for the past two years I have had an awful time trying to get test results when things have gone wrong. If you need to try to talk to an actual person after your appointment, good luck, and the operator is no help.

Great caring Doctor! He oversaw 2 of my 3 pregnancies. Soft spoken, understanding, he listens to all concerns, answers all questions and is respectful. He also did my hysterectomy . I also had breast cancer and he was very involved with my treatments and followed my recovery. He corresponded with all my doctors and was very supportive! I do miss his MA Mary, she was so awesome as well!

Dr. Gough is a caring, compassionate physician who always takes time to both listen and to explain things with this patient. I have been a patient for over ten years and feel that I have always received excellent care, whether in the office, surgery, or hospital. Dr. Gough has a great bedside manner and is up to date on the latest procedures and technology. I highly recommend him.

I had a few procedures completed by my new Pal Dr. Gough. I had issues for several years with no other DOctor listening to what I was saying. He listened to all my woes and figured things out. He is a great listener, kiND and non judgemental. Thank God. He explained everything clearly and took the time to explain what I didn't understand. He is great at what he does. His support team at the office Are simply excellent. CINDY B.
