List of Unm Health Clinic's Reviews
Came on here to check the reviews because of the poor experience I had when scheduling my appointment. Not surprised to see the negative review regarding the front desk staff. As an employee of MG and a patient of UNM this is unacceptable. I will be filling out the Press Ganey diligently after my appointment is complete and reporting to the patient advocate department at UNM.
Horrible service!! Front desk lady is rude and unhelpful
Call the office and talk to Laura because I just was there two days ago, but I forgot to ask my doctor my new doctor to renew my prescriptions so she says that I have to call my pharmacy and she would give me their fax number so they could fax over she she didn’t wanna do any of the work so I hung up and I call back and her friend sitting next to her did the very same thing they would not call the pharmacy they didn’t wanna have anything to do with helping me with that. Have the worst attitude ever Unm is.
Dr. Fortson and staff are fantastic! Highly recommend UNM Family Health
This health clinic is terrific! Lauren Lien is my PCP and she is wonderful! I give them 5 stars!
How about you get your ER travel and permanent staff nurses to do there jobs not all just some that are you know in the most critical care portion of the hospital and get traveling nurse off camper world and attend to patient that have been jamming the call button for hours! Too bad photos and post have been disabled for people to comment guess that explains the 3.5 rating.
I just want to write a review about Ricardo the front desk who answered my call. Not sure he was just a scheduler but yesterday I cannot thank him enough for his assistance!
Another joke of a practice. There are no decent doctors in New Mexico. Employees incompetent. Don’t waste your time, like they wasted mine.
They don’t keep appointment times (waited almost 2 hours past my appointment time even though I had to go to work) and they have no respect for time and they are very rude and disorganized. I’ve heard of people dying waiting on these guys. I was charged a lot of money (even with insurance) for not even seeing anyone I just saw a useless nurse. The worst care I've ever received and I would not recommend this place. Please go elsewhere if you can.
My husband scheduled a routine check up. When asked if having any issues he did mention some abdominal pain he had been having. Unbeknown to him, that automatically changed his appointment to diagnostic so he could be charged more. He then had to pay a bunch of money out of pocket. Now over 2 years later, we received another bill for almost $100. While trying to investigate why 2 years later we are getting billed for more money, the hospital has sent us to collections. It took them over 2 years, yet in 5 weeks they sent us to collections?!?! You’ve got to be kidding me! We will pay the bill and NEVER seek any treatment at UNMH again!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
