List of Unm Hospital Family Health Clinic's Reviews
Dr Proctor and I had a miscommunication. We resolved that and I am very pleased with my care. The nurses who check me in and take the vital signs are wonderful. I got vaccine shots here and what a pleasure.
One of the worst clinic , they forget they put patient in the room and leave them sit there forever. All I heard the staffs talking, laughing and walking around the hallway.
Can’t be seen here. The scheduling won’t allow anyone to be seen. Pediatrics end in June and the clinic will change to internal medicine only. They will send you away saying their waitlist is 6 months or a year just to get you out. Scheduling is useless and there is no staff (one person at FD)
The Doctors here are top notch. Best care each and every time.
None of the family health clinics in Albuquerque are taking new patients. I was placed on a call back list to receive a call when they are accepting new patients.
Don't feel like the doctors here listen to you and even after switching primary, always in a rush to get to the next person even having barely walked through the door, care feels very transactional rather than personal care, doctors say or do one thing or make requests which are not followed through, vague notes that the nurses cant follow through either. I completely felt a lack of care, disregarded, and completely insulted. New Mexico has severe issues when it comes to providing proper care that are going to be consequential some day.
How about you get your ER travel and permanent staff nurses to do there jobs not all just some that are you know in the most critical care portion of the hospital and get traveling nurse off camper world and attend to patient that have been jamming the call button for hours! Too bad photos and post have been disabled for people to comment guess that explains the 3.5 rating.
They don’t keep appointment times (waited almost 2 hours past my appointment time even though I had to go to work) and they have no respect for time and they are very rude and disorganized. I’ve heard of people dying waiting on these guys. I was charged a lot of money (even with insurance) for not even seeing anyone I just saw a useless nurse. The worst care I've ever received and I would not recommend this place. Please go elsewhere if you can.
My husband scheduled a routine check up. When asked if having any issues he did mention some abdominal pain he had been having. Unbeknown to him, that automatically changed his appointment to diagnostic so he could be charged more. He then had to pay a bunch of money out of pocket. Now over 2 years later, we received another bill for almost $100. While trying to investigate why 2 years later we are getting billed for more money, the hospital has sent us to collections. It took them over 2 years, yet in 5 weeks they sent us to collections?!?! You’ve got to be kidding me! We will pay the bill and NEVER seek any treatment at UNMH again!!!
You should know why ! My friends son is in there has had infections pillow on his face

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
