This Doctor might be competent, but he gets one star because he's unethical in his business practices. My mom made an appointment with him, and all was good until she went in - and they told her that they weren't taking new patients, and referred her to another doctor. Sounds reasonable, until you consider: 1. They were happy to make an appointment for her, and collect the money for the visit, while knowing they weren't taking new patients and 2. She *isn't* a new patient, she is just healthy and hasn't been for over 2 years, and therefore she will pay another "new patient fee". These kinds of practices are EXACTLY what's wrong with the medical system in the US today. I know these problems are widespread, but if nobody ever says anything about it, nothing will ever change.
