Dr. Curry has been my doctor for many years, and she is wonderful. But her office never answers the phone and they absolutely NEVER return calls, so don't bother leaving a message. So what good is a great doctor that I can't access??

I came in about a week ago and saw Doctor Allen. She diagnosed my skin condition, found a precancerous lesion over my lip that I wasn't even worried about,which was great. Then she proceeded to give me topical ointment that I told her the emergency room had already tried,she said that maybe they didn't give me a strong enough dose like she was going to and she gave me the exact same dose that they did which of course did no good as it didn't before.She had me taking an oral antihistamine over-the-counter yet the prescription oral antihistamine prescribed by the hospital did no good neither did the one over the counter as I have tried them all.I went back, out of desperation. I called yesterday morning when they first opened and no one answered I went to voicemail left a message and was never called back. I tried three other times to call before I gave up and went in.Thank goodness they were able to get me in the same day which was fantastic, however, I asked for Dr. Curry to consult with Dr. Allen as this seemed to be an issue that was becoming increasingly difficult in my opinion to diagnose correctly. I was trying to explain to her what was happening with this while she was looking at it and she proceeded to slightly raised her voice and tell me to be quiet.I am not a child and she is not my mother. I was a patient in tears who hasn't slept more than 10-15 minutes a night for over 3 months. I did not need her attitude, I needed her help. I can only pray that their resolution this time Will actually help this.

Quick visit this time. No problems. Drove two hours from Gallup and two hours back for a 15 minute session. We need a dermatologist in Gallup, if only for one day a week.
