Lance M Harmon's Online Review Report Card

I've been going to Dr Harmon for years. He's a great Dr who stays on top of the latest information in the medical field.

This post is the exact opposite of Roger's. Dr. Harmon seems to be very knowlegable and is very dedicated to helping solve the problem at hand. Dr. Harmon knows we are not doctors, so he breaks things down for us in ways we can understand. He was not condescending towards us and he did not nor never talks down to us. I understand everybody's experience is different, however, our experiences with Dr. Harmon have been nothing but good and great. He is usually on time, and listens to the issues at hand. While I can not speak for Roger's experience, our experiences have been positive. I would recommend Dr. Harmon and his team to anyone.

Dr Harmon, snotty to patients, talks to them like they are stupid, my sister in law is disabled after an brain anerisim, followed by a stroke, so I help her around, her memory is also bad, Lance was assigned to her by her insurance company, right off the arrogant s.o.b., talks to her like she is stupid, and he is getting payed to do it, when she went to the bathroom, to collect herself after the way he talked to her, I had a quick talk with him about Respect to people, and no being disrespectful to my family, his parting words that day, was that if we did not like his diagnosis, we can go to a different doctor, we did pick up a new patient paperwork for another doctor, and filled it out, but she waited, the next visit was mostly stuff he could not really do, mamagram, pap smear and such, so he just charged her for the visit. Well she got paperwork for jury duty, a women with memory lapses and trouble moving around, one day while she was out of her own, she stopped and dropped off the paperwork for jury duty to his receptionist, all she said was that it would take a few days to get it done, and I thought it was smart to not to waste his time with an appointment for a quick piece of paper saying she was disqualified from jury duty, well a couple days later, she gets a garbled message on her phone, from a guy, saying Dr. Harmon said no, that was it, we found out later the guy was Dr. Harmons male nurse, (explains a couple things), so I called and made an appointment, she needed the paperwork filled out, or as I came to find out, a small note saying she was disqualified, at the appointment, he informed us , that we need to respect him as a doctor, and to PAY him for his time, he said he has a family to feed, and I got it, the receptionist did not tell her she needed an appointment or the Doctor would not do it, but after he said that, I calmly told him that as long as we know that he is ruled by the almighty dollar that we will never make this mistake again with him, he looked at me, and said that I was being aggressive, and comfrontive with him, every since he walked in the door, I wanted to know what was done wrong to get her paperwork filled out, that we tried to do it without wasting his time, then he uses the words 'We Need To Respect Him", this is from this disrespectful dumbass we meet everytime she came there, he said you need to go and get another doctor, and that he did plan to fill out the paperwork, but now he won't, I called him a liar there, he had the paperwork for a week, if he planned to give her, her disqualifying note he would have already done it, and gave it to her when we walked in, and he could have still billed her, no he planned to act like a pissed off child, because we did not take his talking to us like we was stupid, if this is the bedside manner they teach in the Utah universities, they need to rethink, bottom line, Doctor Harmon, arrogant dumdass

He is a nice man, but he seems to get annoyed when you tell him that something he's prescribed isn't working. He doesn't seem to want to remedy the problem(s) you have. Whether or not he intends, he has made my family feel like he's 'put out'. I am not sure if he is afraid of getting sued or what...... We need to have a family doctor that will WANT to make us better and do all that is in their power to do so.
