List of Mary CATHERINE Curry's Reviews
Don't waste your time with this physician. She doesn't show nor care about the patients concerns or complaints. She doesn't fully listen. She likes rolling her eyes too when trying to tell her something. And the girls at the front desk at the Main St. location are rude as they come. Told we were 20 minutes late so it we would be sitting around for awhile. Tried to she the gal our text of our appt time she didn't wanna look our way. They might want to take classes for customer courtesy Have a nice day
Terrible experience!!! I went to her as I was unable to get in to see my regular Dermatologist because of COVD 19 restrictions. She over froze some pre cancerous lesions. I ended up having to go to urgent care to be treated for the burns she caused. Prescribed antibiotic ointment and antibiotics. Lips were swollen terribly and with huge awful blisters; same thing on a finger. It was bleeding. Her physician bed side manner awful. Would not recommend her for anything medically.

She treated me 30 years ago and my issue was resolved with no reoccurrence. Thank you.
I love Dr. Curry. She has been in my corner for many years. My Mom feels the same way. She is gentle and down to earth and very thorough. When nobody else could figure out what was wrong with me, she ran some tests and got me a diagnosis. All I had to do was mention mouth sores and blisters and she ran a panel and came back with a strong positive for celiac disease. That was a life changer for me and I have her to thank for it.
The staff was much more friendly than in my last visit. Dr. Curry was friendly, too, and answered all my questions. Negatives: they require payment in advance, and do not accept credit cards. I had to wait a few months for my appointment; they had a large backlog. I expect this backlog will get much smaller, now that another dermatologist has just opened for business in Farmington. In fact, given her age, I wonder whether the Dr. will simply close up shop.
I been attempting to get in touch with your office to no avail - for two day now. I was making sure of my appointment because of the distance I come to see the doctor.
Dr. Curry attempted to give me brand name prescriptions that had no generic alternative. She then stated I needed to wait for the prescribed prescriptions since, they would be coming from New York. They were expensive and valued at over $200 with insurance. Dr. Curry is difficult to speak with and often does not listen thoroughly to patient concerns. The office staff were competent and helpful however, she herself is not the best help. I would recommend Durango Dermatology. (:
In attempt to even out my facial skin, Dr. Curry went overboard with chemical peel resulting in 2nd degree burns and now I have new scars to contend with the original dark spots I wanted gone. She did not apologize or even attempt to right the wrong. She needs to retire already.
I had to come back for follow ups which incurred more visits to treat my condition.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
