Dr. Ernest saved my life! I was visiting my son in Farmington last Christmas and began to feel ill. Went to hospital in Farmington with Covid symptoms, but was not sufficiently ill to admit. Several trips to E.R. over several days until positive diagnosis of Covid, and sent home again. Early on New Year's morning, I felt a sudden, intense pain in my abdomen. After a few hours, I told my wife that I was dying and had to return, again, to the hospital. Tests revealed that my appendix had burst, and I needed surgery right away. Dr. Ernest performed the surgery. When he checked on me the next day, he told me that my prognosis was not good (50/50 that I would survive). Nevertheless, he continued caring for me, and I went home n much better condition two weeks later. Dr. Ernest was very kind and considerate, and he really listened to what I had to say. Without his care, I am almost sure that that 50/50 would have turned out the other way. Thank you, Doctor Ernest!
