My mom had the best experience and treatment at his office..she had cataract correction on both eyes and what a difference....thank you for making her life easier.
I have been to Dr. Allen 3 times and every time i have been upset with him. on my last visit he looked in my eyes for a maximum of 15 seconds and said "sorry i can't do anything for you" no diagnosis no suggestions nothing but "have a nice day" i explained that i was in pain but he didn't care and went on to the next person.
Thank Heaven for Dr Allen. He corrected all the bad experience I had before changing to him. I had been to another doctor who nearly blinded me from cataract surgery which he had to correct a week later. Dr Allen found me an eye drop I was able to use and no pain. He also corrected a previous diagnosis from former doctor and all is well now. Thank you Dr Allen
Had a cataract in one of my eyes. Dr. Allen performed a painless and quick surgery and restored my eyesight to 20/20. Dr.Allen is very professional as is his staff. I would highly recommend his services.
I went to the office to have eye exam by Dr. Allen. Instead I was given eye exam by assistant. My part of this bill was approx. 170.00 the remaining part of bill sent to Medicare. Then I received a bill for approx. 24.00. A little over priced for eye exam preformed by technician.
Went to Dr Scott Allen for an emergency eye situation. He came in on off hour/day to make sure that the eye was safe, protected and healthy. He went out of his way to be helpful! I would recommend him to anyone!
When I came in I was totally blind in my right eye! Dr. Allen examined me and told me that I had a cataract (at 53!) He removed it in a quick pain-free procedure and I could see again it was a miracle! It has been over four years and all is well! Thank you Dr. Allen and all of your wonderful staff!
Went in for eye exam. My name repeatedly mispronounced, made to feel like I was an inconvenience. After 2 hours I was informed he doesn't give prescriptions for glasses or contacts. Didnt even get a prescription with my vision results. Was told I would need to go to another eye doctor to get eyes examined for glasses and contacts. Wow
I have been a patient of Dr. Allen for years now. He has done 2 cataract surgery's for me and worked with my macular degeneration. I think he is the best Dr. to be found in Farmington and his nurses and staff are stellar!
By far the worst service I have ever received. I arrived 20 minutes early for a new patient appointment, for a toddler, we then proceeded to sit and wait for 45 mins before I asked how much longer, they told me there were 5 patients ahead of us, which means another hour, they bumped us up and we still waited another 30 mins and then the Doctor said that he needed to dilate eyes and we would have to wait another 30 mins or more, I expressed that my toddler could not sit and wait any longer and the Doctor said so very nonchalantly "oh well we will reschedule, this is how our office runs" meaning 2 hours behind..... I refuse to spend my time and hard earned money with someone who doesn't seem to care about the best interest in their patients... IF YOU CANT SEE 50 PATIENTS IN A DAY ON TIME, THEN I SUGGEST YOU ONLY SEE 30 PATIENTS A DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
