Appointment changed on us without our knowledge or contact by MMC scheduling - alleged no Prior Authorization. Clerk at Imaging Center refused to call MMC scheduling to confirm the prior authorization existed. “Too Bad, So sad” attitude - unwilling to assist an 89 y.o. Gentleman with the problem. Fortunately I was able to call MMC scheduling myself from lobby of Imaging center, and Maria with scheduling saved the day! Maria located the auth, then Maria called the Imaging center and this gentleman was seen. Maria is a fine example of MMCs mission statement. Clearly leadership changes must occur at MMC Imaging Center. Connie es no muy consuela.

A doctor refereed me here. I figured his office had told this office what the scan was for and what they should be looking for when they did the MRI. I guess not. A nervous man called me from the large, clean waiting room and took me to the back. He asked me why I was there. I was trying to tell him I had been referred when he blurted out, "Do you have cancer?" I said "What? No!" but really I was there to have an MRI to find out if I have cancer. I thought my doctor's office would have communicated all of this to this office, but maybe not. Then the man said all mad that he had tried to call me yesterday. Later when I checked my phone I saw one call from one unknown number from the day before but if that was him, he didn't leave me a voice mail. He started asking for images from procedures I'd had done previously because my doctor's office hadn't sent them. No one told me I needed to bring images with me, but this man was acting mad at me for not bringing them. Then Cindy stepped in. She was a kind and compassionate angel. She said it was ok I hadn't brought the images. She said the office staff would call my doctor's office and ask for the images. She then put in my IV (which no one had told me I'd be getting). She was good and it didn't hurt too much. Cindy told me just what to expect from the MRI, answered all my questions, and got me headphones with my choice of music playing on them and a blanket to make the procedure more comfortable for me. She was very clear in her instructions but also very kind. She really saved the day for me.

I stayed on the line because I know a lot of places just don’t call back. It did take a bit of time to get through, but she was helpful and brisk getting my appt set up, getting me information on when and what to do before the appt, and was very polite.

Martin was amazing! Efficient, helpful and compassionate.

Arrived for my biannual chest ct scan. Short wait, not crowded in the waiting room. That was nice. Then it was my turn. I was met in the hallway by 3 women who began questioning me, in the hallway, about my bra, in the hallway where there was a small crowd of people behind me. In the hallway. So I lifted my shirt to show them my bra in the hallway. They were upset by that but I was upset that they were questioning me about my bra IN THE HALLWAY. I will do it again in the future if they’re unable to respect patient privacy.

I have used The Imaging Center many times over the years. They are alway respectful, professional. Yesterday I had a bit of a complicated situation of my doing, but staff solved it. I want to particularly call out for praise Karen at the front desk, and Erika radiologist. They are examplary for their respective positions.

Appointment canceled, "But we left you a text and voicemails" Yeah to the wrong phone number.......... Typical "It's not my job" attitude that I find to be very prevalent in the medical field in NM.... My saving grace was Dr Rubios staff that had to intervene to get them to do their jobs, so kudos to them.

I came to get X-rays for my lower back the wait wasn't long and the waiting room is a good size making it comfortable for everyone that was waiting. The X-ray tech Erika was wonderful! She was very attentive, knew what she was doing and listened to all of my concerns. It's very hard to receive excellent medical care nowadays yet Erika went above and beyond to make this visit pleasant.

I was scheduled for a cervical MRI. When they put me in the machine, I had a full blown panic attack and couldn’t go through with it. Martin was so wonderful, he even rescheduled my appointment for me so that I could try again in a bigger machine. The ladies up front were wonderful too. I plan to come here for all of my future imaging needs. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!!!
