List of Alejandro Arzabala's Reviews
Dr Arzabala is a great doctor. The staff is the most awful, disrespectful and unwilling to work with his patients who are elderly who have bad mental issues (dementia) or just remember from one minute to the other. The office manager is very bad and very disrespectful. I am elderly myself and needed to go in with my father.
Dr Arzabala is a nice enough man - but VERY disorganized. I cannot get any promised information or follow up from his or his office. It is sad that Las Cruces is stuck with so few pulmonologists.
Dr.Arzabala is great, professional and knowledgeable. His front office staff is horrible very rude and totally uncooperative.
The doctor does a good job with patients but the staff is very unprofessional, rude and non-compassionate you call and leave a message and your call does not get returned
Waited for over an hour to be seen. Was in waiting room 25 minutes, exam room for over an hour. Walked out of office and will not be going back.
They did a pulmonary function test, did not tell me anything about it. After waiting another hr to see doctor Arzabala, he asked me a list of questions, "listened" to my lungs, gave me a sample of Asmanex and scheduled me to return in three months. Two days later i show up at my oncologists for treatment only for them to tell me I have pneumonia. How is it that a lung specialist misses that... i had fluid surrounding one of my lungs yet dr Arzabala said my lungs sounded good. Don't go to this doctor!
I came in with a chronic cough and they did a pulmonary function test but did not tell me anything about it. After wait waiting another hour to see Dr Arzabala, he asked me a list of questions, "listened" to my lungs, gave me a sample of Asmanex and scheduled me to return in 3 months. He said my lungs sounded fine. This cough ive had, again, has been chronic ...about a year. 2 days later i go for treatment to my oncologist, only for them to tell me i have pneumonia and had to be hospitalized.
I had a 9:00 am appointment. My lung capacity test was done in a timely manner. At 10:45 the Doctor arrived and apologized. The only reason I stayed this long was that I had to wait over two months for the appointment. I learned from his office that the doctor is doing rounds from 9 to 1030. Meanwhile his patients sit and wait for his return. A sign in his office states that any patients arriving more than fifteen minutes late will be rescheduled. Why? There is no rush.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
