I made an appointment three weeks ago as a new patient. They ask that you are 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I arrived late - 7 minutes. I was greeted and checked in and given paperwork to fill out. Once that was complete, I dropped it off to the front desk. I was told that they would be with me shortly. I sat down for a few minutes and then was called back up. She told me my appointment was canceled because I was late. I looked to see what time it was. It was 2:30. (my appointment was for 2:45) I confirmed my appointment time was 2:45. I'm not kidding. I was literally 7 minutes late! There were only two others in the waiting room. She scheduled me for another appointment ONE month away! Thanks for nothing. Where's the compassion? I was there. Paperwork filled out and still within 15 minutes of my actual appointment time. I'm still in shock that this is their policy. I can see if someone has a 2:45 and show up 7 minutes after that time. But, that's not what happened. Perhaps disclosing this to new patients might be the compassionate thing to do. The one-star is not a reflection on this doctor or her ability to treat patients. I never even saw a doctor. I don't think being treated like your time means absolutely nothing qualifies for anything better than one star. Ugh. Do better!
