Absolutely THE WORST medical provider I have ever had the misfortune to find. She is more interested in scheduling procedures than caring for the patients. She does her surgery on Fridays then is incommunicado for the weekend if you need to reach her. She proscribed NO PAIN MEDS, NO ANTIBIOTICS, NO WAY TO REACH HER. I went for lithotripsy of two kidney stones. I was NOT INFORMED that she was using an endoscope to insert a stent IN the kidney. When I went home I came down with a kidney infection - and she was TOO BUSY to do a culture and sensitivity or put me on antibiotics. She wanted my primary care dr to do all the follow up. She left the stent in thinking I’d have the other stone done in two weeks, but I was in such incredible pain and bleeding so much I could not bear to do it again. When I finally demanded she get the stent out she told me that any tiny pieces of stone would still be trapped in my kidney - so it would require an incision to get the small pieces out. THEN WHY DID I HAVE A STENT? This person is WAYYYY too inexperienced. She has no compassion and couldn’t t anticipate that patients could have severe pain (slightly less painful than childbirth) After she finally removed the stent I told her I wanted antibiotics to prevent another infection and some pain killer for the pain. She said she would send the prescriptions to my pharmacy - BUT SHE DID NOT SEND THE PRESCRIPTION FOR A PAIN KILLER. She is the most incompetent and unprofessional and useless impersonator of a doctor EVER. IAN FILING A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE NM MEDICAL ASSOCIATION. STAY FAR AWAY!!
Waited 3 months to see her. Got a ct scan Done she said it was just a uti I went to another doctor and they diagnosed me. I later got my medical record from her and it clearly stated it wasnt a uti
I visited Dr. Bendana and she was very thorough. She made sure to make time to answer questions and ensured I had all relevant data. Staff in the office have been very responsive,
Took me 3 months to get an appt. She suggested I get a CT scan. Had to wait 4 weeks for a follow up. She diagnosed a UTI. Later went to a different urologist diagnosed hydrenosis. I got surgery and haven't had symptoms for 6-8 months. Later asked for the results from the CT scan and it had detected hydrenosis which she said was just a UTI.
My primary care doctor had missed a large stone and her staff got me in early after two months of pain I was relieved to get the tests I had needed and the necessary treatment. Thank you for working me in and your nurse, PA and you taking sufficient time to get me well.
Dr. Bendana performed a TURBT procedure on a malignant bladder tumor in me. I found her professionalism and expertise to be absolutely superb!
Dr. Bendana service me and i was very pleased with her excellence in performing my surgery. Highly recommended.
She didn't even want to see me after I had waited a month for my appointment. Finally spoke to her after a 2 hour wait and getting upset. She still tried to have me see a nurse practitioner because I only have Medicaid insurance. I wanted her help as a professional and she didn't even research my file before telling me to go back to the doctor that had damaged my bladder. All that Dr. did for me was stress me out and make my pain worse. She didn't even want to try to help me and kept telling me that she sends people back to a Dr. after a procedure even if she hasn't spoken to you to see why you have pain. Doctor made me feel like I am not able to get the same good health care because I only have Medicaid insurance and I wasn't good enough for her to look at me.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
