Dr. Bass is a nice person. But, when I got a copy of his report of my visit, there were several inaccuracies and errors. It was like he would ask me a question, and then not listen to the answer. I wanted the report so I could share it with my gastroenterologist. But, there were so many inconsistencies that I don’t feel it would be credible. I will not be returning.

I moved to Las Cruces in 1993 and have known a lot of doctors here. By far, and without question, Dr. Harry Bass is the best doctor I have ever seen not only in Las Cruces, but in my life. He knows medicine back and forth. He is comprehensive, knowledgeable, thorough, yet easy-going in manner, highly professional. Dr. Bass diagnosed a chronic condition I have and he did so on his own initiative, following the data from blood work. Every one else, including 4 other specialists, and including the specialist who should have caught the condition, missed it. Dr. Bass nailed it on my second visit to him. On three other extremely important health questions I had, Dr. Bass was right on target when others were guessing in the dark, and wrongly. How did he do that? He looked carefully at the data, then cross-referenced it. It took him five minutes to figure out what others had missed for months. I think one reason he is a good doctor is because he has been reading and reading the best of the medical literature and constantly updating his knowledge. And he shares it with you directly. The fact that he caught my condition when others did not is a priceless gift for which I can never repay. Here is one hell of a good doctor.
