March 2020 Dr aburto did my eyelids and afterthe operation give me back my self steam and confident I see better, he is excellent Dr I give to him 1000000 plus plus recommends to everyone, thanks Dr muchas gracias doctor.

Do not see this doctor. Leave an honest review on his poor treatment of you, especially if he attacks you with racial micro aggressive assaults as he did with me. Be as loud as you can to protect other people as he pays companies to take down negative reviews.

Dr. Aburto is a great Doctor.❤️ He is vary patient, kind, understanding, and he takes the time to sit with his patients to explain and answer all questions. His staff is so wonderful, kind and so caring. Dr.Aburto as done my last 2 surgery’s and I well continue to use his services.Thank you Dr. Aburto

Dr. Aburto is great! He explains everything so well and makes sure the patient understands everything and answers questions I had. I feel great it’s been a year this month I had surgery I really recommend Dr.Alburto Thank-you Dr Aburto!!

Awful experience.

I do not feel safe even using my real name leaving a review for Dr. Aburto. He is a pure anti-white racist. As a domestic violence victim, I sought him for help with a broken facial bone. The disrespect began at our initial encounter at my first appointment. When he came in the room, he did not even look me in the eye or give any pleasantries, but in a snide tone asked me, “So, you took him back?” Firstly, I had never spoken to him before nor had I given any information to his staff about if I’d “taken him back,” meaning the abuser. Secondly, his leading question was based off of statistics, and very disappointing and disrespectful. At each of the four emotionally agonizing appointments with him, he continued to demean my race and my standing in life. I am a mother of 5, a master’s student, and thin and healthy. He attacked every aspect of my life with micro aggressive comments. He made me feel horrible about myself. And yes, he brought up race on the first visit and asked me why white people are racist toward Hispanics, as if I can speak for all white people. He continued by asking if I like it here, you know, because I’m an outsider because I am Caucasian. I felt attacked. He put me on the spot, and what was I supposed to say? No? I don’t like it here? When it is a virtually pure Hispanic city and he is Hispanic? It was completely inappropriate to bring up my race at all. He had a clear distaste in his mouth for whites, and he was clearly taking his past issues with other white people out one me. That is racism. The city of Las Cruces is one of the least diverse places in America, with 98% Hispanics, many of them leading a charge of anti-white racial discrimination. Needless to say, I never went back. But I fought and let him have it over the phone with the office manager listening as he yelled at me and slammed the door. He is only concerned with himself, NOT his patient’s, (white patients), emotional well being. With this said, he is the only surgeon in Las Cruces capable of attempting to reconstruct my injury and the only surgeon my insurance covered. I now have to stay disfigured until I can save up 7,000+ to pay for my severe facial injury. Furthermore, he flagrantly undermined my self-worth and dignity, and unnecessarily elongated my four visits to over a year to further extend my pain. I would rather walk around with my brutal injury, than go through surgery with a racist doctor. I would never recommend him. There was never even an apology from the office manager nor has the doctor ever provided closure in regard to disrespecting me and ruining my opportunity to fix my painful injury. Stay away from his office to protect your patient rights and to avoid racism.

I went to see Dr. Aburto for an upper lid reconstruction and chose to have the procedure done. I had been bothered by drooping upper lids that started to affect my vision and once the test indicated that the lids were affecting my vision, I was approved to have it done and paid by my insurance. I was relieved knowing that the cost of surgery is high and was so grateful . I met Dr. Aburto and felt very comfortable and confident in him and looked forward to having him help me. I was blown away when he told me he does the upper lids under local, with or without sedation. The day of my procedure, Dr. Aburto came to see me pre op and told me that I would be awake during the whole procedure and that he would just numb the area he was working. I was apprehensive and anxious at the thought of it, however I was completely blown away at his compassion, gentleness and talked me through the entire procedure. The staff that worked alongside him in the OR was incredible and helped to keep me focused on them and less on what Dr. Aburto was doing. 45 mins to an hour later I was post op and being wheeled out of the OR. I can't believe I went through this surgery with just a local to my upper lids with very little anxiousness. The results are shall I say, life changing for me. I love the results and will go back to him later in the year and have him fix my lower lids. I have had two injuries to my eyes and nose that have caused excess eye bags and look forward to one day not having to look at them ever again. I have always felt like I look so old when I'm only 57, it zapped me of my energy and I felt down alot because of what these bags look like, just by having my upper lids done and the result of what Dr. Aburto did for my upper lids, there is no doubt I will have him fix my lower lids too. Dr. Jaime Aburto is a skilled, professional and caring doctor who takes pride in his work. Thank you Dr. Aburto!!!

Chris is deceitful manipulative and a flat out liar. We had missed our appointment and were ready to reschedule surgery. She told us and our surgeon that she would push through the insurance approval if we showed up at next possible opening 2 days later. We made difficult arrangements for work to do this taking a hit on our review and rating as a worker. The work projected ended 3 days later and we could have come no problem after that but she insisted she would work the insurance approval to meet our surgery date. We showed up and Dr. Aburto did not even have our file. He did not take a single note for the surgical issues and medication for surgery the following week. Whe I stated surgery was in a week he passed it off to Chris. After yet another sales pitch from Dr. Aburto we went to Chris and she stated the surgery had already been canceled. Mind you just 2 days before she assured us if we missed work she would get this done and surgery would be as schedule in a week. This was a lie. She was deceitful and even the general surgeon was not informed the surgery had been canceled days before. I wouldn't let this incompetence pull a sliver out of me much less do major surgery for several months. What kind of a doctor is not honest and straight up? This experience for us is enough to stay away from Memorial all together. Mountain View is at least honest to their patients.

I had a breast reduction with Dr. Aburto ... he did an amazing job and I am extremely happy with the results. Everyone is so nice, happy, and ready to help you with whatever you need. I can not recommend Dr. Aburto and his entire team enough. Seriously, they are with you every step of the way. Dr. Aburto even gives out his personal number after surgery, so you can reach out to him if you have any questions or concerns.

Great doctor. He took time to explain to me all the options I had for surgery. He was patient and knowledgeable. All the staff was very pleasant EXCEPT for Chris, the person in charge for giving you the prices. When I told her that the doctor had advice me to wait about five years to have the procedure done, she replied that the doctor had not tell her that. I asked her for the price of other procedures and she didn't want to give them to me. She ended up giving me the prices after she made ugly relmarks. The only reason why I'm giving 4 starts is because of her. The doctor and the rest of the staff deserve 10 starts, but Christina deserves 0 stars.
