John Tucker's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Tucker is amazing! We loved him so much, we switched our daughter to him as her Pediatrician. You can tell he really cares about his patients. Las cruces is very lucky to have him as a dr in the community.

This review isn’t regarding Dr. Tucker per se, but the administration of this practice. I called in January of 2021 to request an exam to check my b12 levels. I specifically requested an on site visit, yet got a phone call while I was driving in for the appointment. I was even called twice prior reminding me of the appointment and specifically stated I was an onsite visit. Then I visited in February 2021, again- specifically referenced I need a physical and bloodwork. My results came in and I asked for the Doctor to call me to discuss them, that never happened. I was told verbally ‘they were fine’, yet I’m looking and seeing things out of range- still got no explanation to this day. Then I went in for a visit a few weeks later, and still nothing mentioned during the visit. I waited in the room for AN HOUR before I was seen.Fast forward to now- I am still waiting for my initial visit to get coded correctly. Because it wasn’t showing an physical was done (even though I answered a gazillion questions about my health AND got an exam) my visit was coded incorrectly and I am being charged over $1,000 for my visit and routine bloodwork. I have gone back and forth to get these claims fixed and now I’m told- they can’t be re-filled because of insurance fraud and I’m going to BE CHARGED MORE. I did nothing wrong. All I wanted was bloodwork and to get a local doctor established. I would steer clear of this office, I know 2 other people that have other issues. Not getting called during their visit (yet their phone was on- and the office said they called), a CD of a spine x ray was LOST, and there was a huge scheduling mix up with someone’s elderly father who had to wait 2 months to get in because of their issues.

He is the only doctor I've ever had that I would recommend. I'm seventy plus years old.

Awesome experience through zoom. The staff was quick and I was able to give the Doctor a full history while I was changing PCPs.

Rude, waste of time. Gave incorrect diagnostic. Made me feel rushed and very uncomfortable.

I drove my g-ma & g-pa 2 their primary-care-physician, (Dr.Tucker) & I was invited 2 sit in on the exams. After that, I decided 2 switch my husband & myself, from OUR pcp, 2 Dr. Tucker. His "bedside manner" & his attention to detail are exemplary! 2day, my husband had his 1st appt w/ Dr. Tucker. Like most men, my husband HATES going 2 the Dr.! 4 the 1st time, since I've known my husband, he is now, comfortable & enthusiastic about his preventative health care regimen, because Dr. Tucker personalized it for him & made us feel like family. Dr. Tucker is also entrusted w/ training new Dr.s. A "resident-physician", Tammy was a pleasant part of the exam. She too, was stellar! Tammy couldn't be learning from a better Dr.! His nurse, Charlene, was fantastic, as well. I didn't catch the name of the lady at the front desk but scheduling and reception were so prisice & easy! Dr. Tucker is the "real-deal"! He will be our family Dr., until he retires.

Had my first appointment today, Dr. Tucker was wonderful! He was very professional, informative and caring. Highly recommend!

Great overall experience. Felt very comfortable. Glad I made the switch to Dr. Tucker.

Wonderful. He listened patiently and explained well. I never felt rushed. He listened carefully and gave me his undivided attention.

I'd give Dr Tucker endless amounts of stars if I could. He is the best Dr I have ever had! My girls (2 & 7) love him, he puts them at ease. My oldest is autistic and doesn't like many people but she loves Dr Tucker. The staff is amazing too. We have been patients of his for over a year. I wish he had opened his own practice sooner so we could have found him sooner.
