My husband and I have been patients of Dr Schaefer for about 5 years and have seen other members of his team although we have scheduled appointments with Dr Schaefer. His office is seemingly overwhelmed with the number of patients as there is always a problem with scheduling. The staff makes little effort to listen and work with patients. We have heard others complain as well. Our overall care is fragmented because we haven’t seen the same provider.

Have just changed doctors and had my first visit with Dr. Schaefer. The front office staff is fantastic, such a contrast to what I've experienced in the past. Very friendly and on top of everything. I did wait an hour to see the doctor, but nothing new there, especially for a doctor that takes time with patients. He is not a get in and get out type of doctor. I also learned that this office tries to facilitate emergency visits, when appropriate, versus send you to urgent care. Dr. Schaefer answered all my questions and took a clear interest in my health. The office includes a lab, meaning no special visit to get blood work done. This is a real bonus to be sure. I'm looking forward to having these folks as my primary care facility and will most likely be bringing the rest of the family.
