Chowdhury Ahsan's Online Review Report Card

This review is not really for the doctor, since I never saw him. I arrived the day of my appointment and the front desk said I could not see the doctor because they never received a referral from my primary care doctor/insurance. I had the referral in my hand. They did not try to solve the issue or fix the problem. They just denied me my appointment and sent me on my way to figure out the problem on my own. Horrible experience and would not recommend this facility to anyone.

This operation is nothing more than a money grab. Total dysfunction in terms of staff, operations, and physicians. Dr Ashan is extremely disorganized. Will come into the examination room totally unprepared, and not have any clue as to your case, or ailments. He will briefly look at your test results, and ask if there are any complaints, then whisk off without answering any questions and not doing any semblance of an exam or follow up to your procedures. I will be looking for another heart care provider. Please stay away from this center and Dr Ashan if you value your health.

Dr. Ahsan is disrespectful, belittling, rude, and cruel. He did not let me finish a single sentence. He had zero interest in anything I had to say, explained nothing, interrupted me constantly, oh and spent less then 120 seconds in the office, after I waited months for the appointment. He also made a mistake. Human error is acceptable, everyone makes mistakes or has an off day. His behavior was not from having a bad day; his nasty, disdainful, attitude is innate and caused him to be negligent in treatment planning. Disgraceful. Do not trust your life to this arrogant, mean person.

When I selected him, I thought it would be a good idea to go with him because of the history I had with him 8 years prior. I was recovering from an aortic dissection and he was the cardiologist in charge of my recovery. This time it was just a valve replacement so I thought it was the right move. He was the Director of Cardiology for UMC and while I was admitted prior to my surgery he never once stopped by my room when he would leave his office and walk right by my room. 8 even stood in the doorway and looked at him walk by. He just looked down at the floor when he walked by. So, after the surgery and release from UMC I proceeded to find another cardiologist. I would not recommend him.

Horrible doctor! My family member suffered greatly. He does not appear to care for his patients, only for his pocket.

This is the worst physician I have ever encountered. It’s shameful that this doctor is allowed to practice. He is very disrespectful and rude. When asked for an explanation he turns around and walk away without a response. If you care about your health avoid this doctor, even better avoid UMC Las Vegas.
