He’s a diagnostic genius in my book. With a constant two-day pain in my left chest, back, shoulder, elbow down to my two little fingers, I eventually went to an Emergency Room (ER). As soon as I said, “Left chest and arm pain,” they thought ‘heart attack’ and hooked me to EKG, drawing blood every two hours and x-rayed a few times. After 6-hours (and $12,000+) they told me my heart was find. “But what about this constant pain?” I asked. “We’ll keep you over night and check your heart again in the morning.” I walked out and went to another ER. “We’ll have to check you in, then check your heart.” Fortunately, the next day was my cancer appointment with Dr. Samlowsky. I told him about my visits to ERs and my pain. “Little two fingers? You have a pinched vertebrae in your neck at C8. I’ll set you up with a back specialist for tomorrow.” He also controls my cancer. He’s my hero.

My wonderful chemo nurses are angels. The lovely front desk & schedulers team are always so welcoming when arriving. And of course the amazing radiation team who took great care of me. Dr Samlowski and Comprehensive Cancer Centers are par excellent in every way! Dr Samlowski is a skilled, experienced and caring communicator. I continue to be impressed with his attention to detail and his ability to communicate with me in terms I can understand. He leaves nothing to chance with his treatment plans. He is methodical and always focused ensuring best possible outcomes. This has been a godsend during a challenging time in my life. My gratitude to Dr Samlowski and Comprehensive Cancer Center and staff.

Am switching doctors....I live over 2 hours away from Vegas and with everything going on with co-vid, I tried to get virtual visits....refused to do video chat with me when I had seen him a few months before.....no compassion....I'm not driving over 5 hours round trip on chemo for a 5 minute office visit when we can just as well do it virtually...not dealing with the rudeness of some of the staff...they always sound irritated when you call and that's if they EVER answer the phone. Glad I'm going somewhere closer where there's some compassion

Dr Samlowski told my father, with a very limited time left to live, that I was not liked by him or members of his office because I complained that a week was too long to wait for a required office letter from him outlining my dad's health for a time sensitive 2nd opinion at MD Anderson. Dr Samlowkski's office didn't return my calls, failed to fulfill promises and Dr Samlowski refused to communicate with the doctor at MD Anderson.
