Please don’t waste your time here as I have .As a new patient concerned with hair loss I came here hoping for answers. I have lost over 50% in a short period of time and I was told that it was apart of the aging process !! I’m 36 while I get that is not young it is not normal to lose that much in a short period of time . She didn’t seem interested in ruling anything other than Telogen effluvium out ! She looked at my scalp didn’t use a trichoscopy nor pull test . She did want to limited blood work however . I’m not trying to minimize their education but they didn’t seem very interested in telling me anything other Im losing hair because I’m getting older! I will never come here again which I’m sure will be relief to them since they couldn’t answer any of my questions anyways .
Her diagnostic skills are amazing. For years, I have been a " medical mystery" to a number of different doctors. My first appointment with her, she did a biopsy. My symptoms were consistent with a rare genetic disorder. I finally have a diagnosis thanks to her. This women saved my life. She is brilliant at what she does. One of the best.
This was my first time going to a dermatologist's office and I was nervous. I was seen by Taylor who was very kind and thorough in explaining things to me as a newbie. Appt was fast and on time. Thanks again!
Impossible to book appointments for existing patients less than 6 months in advance.
Dr. Whitley is a "10" - absolutely tops; never met anyone as skilled and as pleasant,
It was the first time I visited the office and I was five minutes late, she cancelled my appoint. Nobody have told me the policy that they would cancel the appointment for late by 5 minutes. I asked they to pointed out the policy in their paperwork, they couldn't provide. They didn't provide reminders before 24 hours which is the deadline to cancel the appointment. They did not accept electronica referral from family doctor, instead, you have to go to the office to schedule an appointment as new patient and bring the referral.
Dr. Whitley has been my Dermatologist for several years. She has always been the most professional and caring Doctor to me. She is very thorough with her patient examinations and she has a great bedside manner.
I have sought treatment from dermatologist’s for many years. Today was my first visit to Dr. Whitley in Los Alamos. I have never had such a thorough examination. Five star treatment. I wish I felt that way about all my health care providers.

Their service is great, but they have problems answering their phone. I've called many times in the past and left voicemails, but they never answered nor called back. These calls were important, but again, they never got back. They need to improve this aspect greatly, as it is extremely frustrating to get a hold of them. Also, being from out of town, it's such an inconvenience going to their offices to make an appointment or simply get my question resolved- which could've been handled if they would answer their phone. I understand they get many calls, but not answering every time I've called, come on. I'm now considering moving my business elsewhere due to this, which is sad because I've been a patient here for over four years and their service is great. Very, very dissatisfied with the customer service/receptionist area.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
