Dr Balduf did an open repair of my inguinal hernia under general anesthesia. The entire surgical team was excellent. Aside from her skill, Dr Balduf has a wonderful personality. She is friendly and outgoing with a good sense of humor, seems to love her work. She gave detailed answers to my questions about resuming a number of activities, gave a clear discussion of options (open versus minimally invasive surgery), and told me what I could expect. The anesthiologist, Dr O'Neal, spent more time with me just before surgery than I expected and involved me in the deciding the type of anesthesia. I was discharged less than 2 hours after the end of surgery, have had no complications, and pain was easy to manage. I would not hesitate having surgery at Rust Hospital again: it functions very well.

From the moment the doctor walked in I knew I was in good hands We immediately began discussing relevant key issues regarding the rectal prolapse symptoms I was experiencing. After the exam, Dr. Balduf was extremely professional and provided me with a breakdown of depth of my problem. She then followed by providing me with two scenarios and recommended one which would avoid surgery. I agreed with her decision after hearing the reasons why it was the right path to follow which involved physical therapy and biofeedback from a pelvic specialist. Thank you ever so much Dr. Balduf from the bottom of my heart for being such a compassionate doctor and reinforcing that we have great doctors working in our community.

I was really impressed with Dr. Balduf. She has a great bedside manner and it is apparent that she really cares about her patients. Dr. Balduf is very knowledgeable and explains everything in a way that the patient will understand. She is caring and was very attentive to me, as a patient.
