List of Santiago Ayala's Reviews
I’ve been “seeing” Dr Ayala for over 3 years, however in the last year I never actually get an Appt with him, it’s always a PA or they refer me to urgent care unless I want to wait weeks while I’m sick to get seen. Most recently, I finally got an appointment with him to discuss chronic issues that have made my day to day miserable. The appt was at 8:30. I arrived at 8:30 but slipped on loose gravel in the parking lot and took a minute to get my bearings and complain to myself about the new ache in my shoulder from wrenching it when I tried to stop myself from going down, which meant I officially checked in at 8:33. After waiting for 30 minutes, I was told I’d now have to wait for a no show because I arrived “late”. Never mind that I’ve never been seen on time in all the years I’ve gone there or that I took the morning off work, unpaid, or that the reason I was late is because they don’t maintain their parking lot, I was 3 min late to sign in and so now I would either have to wait or reschedule. I tried waiting but with no guarantee that I’d get seen and the lack of consideration I’ve had this last year from this office, I chose to leave and finally made the decision to find a new primary care doctor. I’m not sure if Dr. Ayala has something against lower income or Medicaid patience, as the significant decrease in care, availability and attention definite correlated to the time when I lost my insurance through work and was solely on pres Medicaid, or if it’s just coincidence and his practice got too busy for quality patient care, but in any case, I’d look elsewhere. Clearly Dr. Ayala doesn’t have the time for his existing patience, let alone any new ones.
Caring staff. Definitely deserve 5 stars.
Dr. Ayala listened to my husband before making a decision to move forward on blood work. Upon returning for results, Dr. Ayala was thorough on next steps to take and very clear on his direction of care. Dr. Ayala has been very concerned and direct in his patient care. He has a very high work ethic and attentiveness to patient care and up to date information on medical car . He doesn't stop trying to learn more.
Dr. Ayala is very patient loves what he does. He listens to his patients and has helped my daughter in so many ways. He is honest, genuine and really cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone who wants quality care. Thank you Dr. Ayala!
I saw Dr. Ayala a few years ago. It was an okay first appointment so i have been referring my patients to him since my visit. I had my own issues with another unit (appointment for med management and the Dr no longer worked with them.) The medication i was on was to be closely monitored and dosing could not be missed. I went over 3 months with out my medication because of this. I had referred my husband and i regret this. His first visit (after being reschedule by the office) - No exam was done. He scheduled blood work and that was reschedule to today. He got his confirmation call/text yesterday 07/29/18. When he showed up to his appointment today, after fasting all day for the blood work, they would not draw blood. He has to take time off work for these appointments. He was told that the Dr has to do a physical in the same visit. Hopefully i will be hearing from their manager in a timely fashion.
I feel rushed. He doesn't seems to want to spend extra time to discussed other health issue that i am concerned about.
SANTIAG O
Office run by MedTechs/Medical Assistants who parade as licensed professionals giving out lab results via phone with no comprehension of their meaning. As an Advanced Practice Nurse I find this practice agreedious and insulting. Perhaps PMS will consider charging MT/MA prices for visits if the follow up results for tests ordered by MD are being delivered by MT/MA's and not a licensed professional. This reflects an office that is not monitored or controlled by the MD to ensure safe patient care
He seems too constrained by a tight schedule. It took four visits before he would listen to me about a secondary condition I have. Would only address the primary reason for my office visit.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
