List of Vanessa Al Rashida's Reviews
I have been seeing a PA at another Optum location for about 5 years, but she recently left Optum and I didn't find this out until my prescriptions needed renewal and the pharmacy was not able to contact my provider. When I called Optum to inquire and found out I was doctor-less, the operator got me booked into an appointment at this location quickly (within 2 days of my call) with Dr Al Rashida. The check-in process was quick and easy. The wait was pretty short as well. The nurse that took my vitals was strictly business, but the doctor herself was attentive, listened to my concerns, and got my scripts renewed until I could reestablish with my PA at her new practice. Dr Al Rashida is not currently accepting new patients but still offered to answer any questions or concerns I might have in the coming months until I get established again with my PA. She was professional and thorough, as well as compassionate and kind. The only reason I withhold one star from my review is not on account of my experience at this clinic but because of the lack of contact I received from Optum regarding the departure of my primary care provider. I would think it standard practice to inform patients when their PCP leaves the practice so they can make timely decisions to reestablish with another doctor. My mother recently went through this with her own physician, and the practice provided her notice that her doctor was leaving, along with profiles of other doctors in the practice that were currently taking new patients. It was a stressful experience for me to find out this way, through a pharmacy attempting to refill my medications, that my doctor was no longer practicing with Optum.
I would give zero stars if it was an option. The absolute worst customer service and care I have ever received. They actually hung up on me, lied to me for over a week and a half and then eventually told me to go urgent care so I could get a standard nonnarcotic prescription that I have been on for over 10 years. It is not the patients problem that you have zero appointments for over 3 months nor is it our problem that your doctors keep leaving so every appointment is reestablishing with a new primary care Doctor. Absolutely terrible
Had me fill out a “Mental Health” form or whatever they give you and I wrote about myself because the form claimed to be confidential and no. Read it out loud, to my mom, right to my face and the doctor just smiled. 😐
They all have been great there. I am pleased with their professionalism and care. I have never had had any problems
Don't come here if you are looking for people who care wish I could leave negative stars went there and the doctor ordered labs be done went to the labs and what a suprise my labs weren't sent called the office while I was at the lab and all they would do was send a message to the back office even though I was at the lab so I took off time of work for nothing asked why it wasn't sent and they didn't know and said my appointment wasn't for a while but I had an appointment this month in a couple of weeks and apparently they canceled my appointment without telling me and moved my appointment to another day that I did not consent to. Patients beware please don't go here I am going somewhere else where accountability matters. Tried to speak with office manager but just get the run around. Optum hire people that care and know how to do their job!
I have been taking my kids here since they were born. 10+ years. Love the doctor's and the ladies in the front. Someone higher up needs to realize that the ladies upfront need help with answer calls. They are very short handed and is not fair to them or to the patients trying to get the care they need. Just ridiculous!!
Incredibly disappointed. I have been trying to get a time sensitive refill since April 13. When I followed up — for the 2nd time — before they closed for the weekend on the April 22, the receptionist, rather than helping me, chose to hang up on me. Some people definitely shouldn’t go into the medical field if they’re not interested in patient care. UPDATE: Turns out, it’s the entire staff that fails to demonstrate effective communication or empathy at Optum. Furthermore, they seem to have difficulty following their own policies. After being grossly misinformed, provider Annette Maxedon told me it was my responsibility to correct their errors, and hung up on me for having the audacity to express my frustration at her office’s lack of care. This provider literally told me she did not care how my lack of insurance may have interrupted my care, and that it was my responsibility to take care of things; please note I stated I have been trying to take care of the situation since April 13. Every follow up conversation was initiated by me, as her office made no attempt to contact me. And even during these calls, I was not provided with accurate information. I understand medical offices are busy and deal with complex situations, but patients are people with bodies who do not wait for external situations to resolve - a patient in need is a patient in need. And gaslighting a patient, instead of owning up to systemic failures within your practice, really isn’t the best way to provide patient care. But perhaps, she and Optum can justify themselves to the medical board, if they are asked to respond to the complaint I filed, upon her hanging up on me. So long story long, if you want horrible medical care and to be treated like a criminal for wanting your medication, then go to Optum. If you want to be treated like a person with medical conditions that require medication, then I suggest you go elsewhere.
I absolutely love Lori and dr good but trying to get through on the phone has been a nightmare
Really with the mask still? Why not try informing high risk patients to wear n92 masks, it would be far more affective. Furthermore, whoever you are having respond to your reviews needs a thesaurus, they're like a robot, my goodness, doesn't even sound sincere. Angela Montoy is amazing though! Had great care and that's what matters
Dr. Denise Aamodt is the BEST! She is extremely caring and responsive, but most importantly, a great diagnostician.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
