Dr. Woog has administered several back shots over several years. They worked well for me. I respect and like Dr. Woog. Also, he has a good sense of humor.

Would be zero stars if it was an option. Dr. Woog is an arrogant know-it-all who could truly care less about your pain or the fact that you could be living a nightmare on a daily basis. After waiting a month minimum to see him, He'll snap off some quick diagnosis that will undoubtedly include an injection of some sort, injected somewhere. And it ends there. It's a real take it or leave it scenario with him. He assumes that he knows best, not to mention the assumption that he's way smarter than anyone in town. You'll get the plastic spine demo and then he'll tell you what he can do for you. And it's all a joke. He's unashamed to say that fibromyalgia is completely made up, and that you'll be magically cured by some steroid injection, yet he can't give you any assurance that here on Earth, it will do anything to alleviate your pain. This was the first time I've ever been to a pain clinic and it will be the last. Don't waste your time or money- this place is a joke. I had been to my primary; I've been to the hip guy; I've been to the spine guy who sent me here. And finally I end up seeing this goof who offers one solution and it directly goes against what the spine guy said. Good ole Dr. Wool must have been fired from his big city hospital and bounced right over here to try and reclaim his former glory. STEER FAR CLEAR FROM THIS MAN unless you like getting aggregated and talked down to and you will leave worse off than when you came.

Ive been a patient of Dr Woog before and after a 4 level laminectamy.Ive had 3 injections preformed by him and they didnt help my pain.My last visit he insisted i get another injection.He didnt listen to me!Instead he assumed!Ive been seeing him to help manage my acute,chronic pain from a cervical spinal cord injury.Ive also got several other painful spinal issues that got worse after the laminectamy.Dr. Woog didnt treat me with professional respect or dignity.He got really upset when i asked him why he wouldnt increase the strength of my pain meds.He rudely told me to find another Dr. Then he jumped up and stormed out of the exam room.Not only that he lied in his notes about me!I was very cordial and polite during our visit.He lied and noted i became angry because he wouldnt increase the strength of my pain medication.Im 58,been through 8 surgeries and ive never ever been treated the way he treated me.All of his staff gets 5 stars for being professional.I gave Dr Woog 1 star because he violated a few of my patient rights and treated me like a drug seeker instead offering other options.He needs to be disaplined by the Medical Board!I filed a complaint and i need to know if he will be disaplined!Ive been under his care for almost a year.Then he gets angry and abandons me and lies in his notes.I would swear under oath in a court about his behaviour and stating lies in his notes.

Allow me to negate any poor reviews. Dr Woog, staff, Christus are 5 stars! I was treated with respect, listened to, and was provided with relief after 4 months of agony. I was treated with dignity. Any review that says “snarky” is written by a person with mental problems.

FANTASTIC & relief of pain

He "cured" my sciatica with an injection.

I have never been treated so rudely by a doctors office, in my entire life! They were disrespectful, snarky & entirely unhelpful. Unfortunately for this doctor, his staff is the reason for my negative review.

His patient care is deplorable. He never responded to my calls to his Office in Santa Fe to alleviate my pain caused by is injections . He even failed to respond to the Santa Fe office. I’m now in the Christus St Vincent Hospital waiting for results on several tests to determine what Dr. Woog did wrong.

Dr. Woog diagnosed a challenging problem that 6 others could not. He spent a great deal of time listening to me describe my symptoms and pain. He even sat with me during recovery after an out-patient procedure, to ensure that the injections worked. He and his staff showed concern for my condition and offered alternatives to help address the pain. I highly recommend Dr. Woog. As I read a couple of negative reviews, I was amazed and can't imagine Dr. Woog behaving as they described. It's difficult to find good doctors in Santa Fe, and I'll definitely return to see him if needed. Thank you, Dr. Woog for helping me.
