It's very rare to find a doctor that listens to you.... to learn more about your symptoms and emotional hardship you suffer because of them. Therefore he is more equipped to treat you and help you heal emotionally as well as physically......It was worth the wait to get in to see him...definitely five stars

MY wife saw Dr. Stinar due to stage 4 lung cancer. She had been through 6 months treatment and had been without disease. She had 3 small tumors appear and the oncologist sent us to him. He told us it was not a good idea to do the biopsy. That he did not see the rationale. And, that he thought that it would be almost impossible to get enough of a sample from her small tumors to run the test wanted. He refused to do the biopsy. The oncologist insisted that we go to a radiologist specialist to do the biopsy. He told he could get the specimen. Well we drove 150 miles spent all day. They got 3 cancerous cells. But, could not do the test the oncologists wanted. Dr. Stinar was right. We will listen to him intently in the future. And, probably do what he says. He is very down to earth. ANd, won't blow smoke up your .....

Dr. Stinar took care of my grandfather when he was dying from emphysema (after smoking for forty years.) Dr. Stinar did everything he could, treated everyone with kindness and respect, and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Stinar has been my doctor for over 5 years now. His treatment has been great. He is a very knowledgeable doctor and it is a blessing he chose to reside in Silver City. His staff is very helpful, friendly, and professional. Dr. Stinar is a doctor that will diagnose the problem, explain it to you so you can understand, then he will listen to you and help you figure out the best treatment options for you.
