Damn near killed me! There isn't a place for no stars!!! Because, of severe infection. Which was caused by Odosa opening up my incision in his unsterile office. And, not aware of his decision. No anesthesia or meds given! While I laid on the exam table crying out in severe pain my Husband was in complete horror! I'm thankful for the other kind hearted, caring surgeon who took me under his care. Redid my surgery and used a wound vac on me! I would have died without his help! Do Not allow Odosa!!!
Dr Odocha is the best gastroenterologist I’ve been to. I’ve been to a number over the years. He’s thorough, explains everything, provides information for self care and is a delightful person. His warmth and joy were comforting when I was in extreme pain. I recommend him unconditionally.
Best doctor visit in years!
I had a hernia repair done by this doctor back in April of 2016. It was an umbilical hernia repair. This Dr made an incision in shape of a T my whole stomach is deformed because of him. After two weeks of my surgery I went back to see him for my follow up and I told him my incision was not healing he send me home with an antibiotic ointment and got send home. After using the ointment and noticing no progress I went and seen another surgeon and he did blood work and a culture on the incision. The following day I was notify I needed to go ASAP to the hospital and I would be having a removal of the infected mesh due to the fact that I had staph in my blood stream. I had a removal of mesh that day and stayed in the hospital with antibiotics for days due to the neglect-ion i received from Dr. Odocha he didn’t only cut me like if he was cutting a pig in a medical lab room he didn’t bother to care regarding my incision not healing correctly. PLEASE DO NOT waste your time and your money on this DR. Please LOOK for another DR. Your life depends on it.
Scalpel happy witch doctor I don't see how he is still licensed or employed. Gila Regional is also to blame cooperatively lying on & falsifying records . Feb 2015 I was opened up 7 x for diverticulitis, when asked to b transferred to another hospital they begged me me to stay n gave me this excuse "we now know where exactly to cut & have the right medications as well as antibiotics to treat you with"..? Really after 1-1/2 month & 7 ops?!! When I asked for my medical records I came to find falsified documentation stating I denied treatment as well as Dr Wendler, whom I asked for to begin with. It has taken 3 yrs /9 months to correct their mess, which I am still under care for. Oct 24 2018 I was operated on to prepare for the reversal which will be w/in 6 months - 1yr. I've had 1 freind and know of another case go into this hospital with non threatening ailments and die during their uncare. GRMC & ODOCHA are uncaring financial opportunists!!
Very poor ethics. He has not done anything for our family member. We have told him wound is infected and he has done nothing. What can we do. This is just horrible. Hospital staff in silver city is also horribel. Especially the physical therapist the blonde one.
My daughter had gone in to see Dr. Odocha back in September of 2015 there was a discrepancy with her billing and she was told she had to pay the entire amount of $392. She paid $100 to the doctors office directly but was unable to make anymore payments at the time. She was understandably sent to collections for the remaining amount and made arrangements to make payments for the remaining amount which was eventually paid off. I later found out about the bill (as I am in another state) and called the insurance to resolve this claim. They fixed the error and paid the doctors office $352.40 in November of 2016 her responsibility is her $20 co-pay. My daughter went to the doctors office that week to ask about reimbursement for the amount she paid which was an extra $372.40. The office said they had received the insurance payment and would get a check to her that week. When she did not get a check she called the office and they again said they would send a check. Well 4 months later I have to call the office and make threats to complain. Finally we get somewhere, I am assured there is a check waiting for my daughter and she can come in and pick it up. My mom goes in to pick it up for her and it is only $293.40 a difference of $79 which is a large amount for a college student paying her own tuition. I call the office and they refuse to pay the remaining amount. It just seems to me like double dipping. Not only were they paid in full by my daughter but they were also paid by my insurance for the full amount two times! How many insurance companies pay 60% much less %100 of the total bill? It was frustrating enough trying to get her money back it becomes even more frustrating when the attitude of the office is so uncaring. I spoke to Dione about this bill and she was very unsympathetic to the entire situation. She may only be following orders but she should learn compassion. We are all human beings but not all of us are being human. This office needs to practice compassion for others.
I can find no fault with him or his staff. The staff is always friendly and Dr Odocha is always willing to joke with me. E
Butcher!!!! Should never have to have 4 surgeries in the same year to fix something simple

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
