Recently (end Jan. 2020) I had to go to emergency due to heart issue. Checked in and they needed to run a ct but, due to cPTSD, I had a panic attack. Dr. Berger came in to the ct area and stayed with me, calming me throughout the ordeal, until it was done. He was kind, did not belittle me, and helped me deal with a horrible situation. It is rare that I have had a doctor show that level of compassion and kindness in an emergency, and it was much appreciated. A real blessing.

I was seen at an ER over the weekend for some lower abdominal pain. Dr. Berger was by far the most understanding,calming, patient, and professional doctor I have seen! Not only is his bedside manner top notch, he also seemed to really care about why I was in the ER. Carson Tahoe Hospital is very lucky to have such an awesome Doctor on their staff!

Having been in and out of the hospital over the past few years due to cancer and autoimmune issues, I have dealt with a lot of physicians. Dr. Berger is amazing! I never once felt rushed while talking with him. I wish there were more people like him in the medical field.

Dr. Berger was the Dr. on call for a family member a few months ago. She had gone to the emergency room in Reno, and in Carson City and got the same run around. Can't find anything, maybe you pulled something and leaving us to feel like "It's all in your head" Dr. Berger, took the time to check out all the information, talking to her to find out that Gall Bladder problems. The test he ordered came back negative, but he suggested another test and set it up. She has since had her Gall Bladder out.

Dr Berger is easily the best doctor Anyone in my family has seen. He has outstanding bed side manners. He has a Huge heart and is thorough and thoughtful. We even received a follow-up call the following morning after our visit to the ER, simply checking on our daughter and our selves. That's wonderful and we are all lucky to have him. My only wish is that he could be our regular doctor as well.
