Matti Vazeen's Online Review Report Card

Dr Vazeen just did surgery on my eye for Cataracts. I have been seeing this doctor for the last 15 years and been happy. He did surgery on my one eye back several years ago after I got Cataracts from having my eye repaired from an accident (kicked in the eye). This 2nd eye was doing well until recently and so I had to have this one taken care of. They explain everything ahead of time and give you everything you need. They got me in fairly quick, I was worried I would have to wait months. I will continue to go to him at his practice. My wife started out with Dr. Vazeen but somehow over the years got transferred to a different doctor in the office. Not sure how this happened but every time she goes in now she has the other doctor. I just think they need to be more transparent when you make the appointment as to which doctor you will be working with. She needs the same surgery I have had and will be getting it done with the other doctor in the office, sure hope that person is as good as Doctor Vazeen. I have friends that go here to and they told my wife that Dr. Vazeen would only hire the best. That's a comfort for her.

I should have completed this at least a year ago. I had a most wonderful experience receiving the surgery both eyes have been excellent. My son-in-law said he barely got back with his Starbucks expecting to wait but no as soon as he sat down I was done. He hopes when he needs help he will be treated as well. All processes were explained and I felt relaxed in trusting everyone around me. Much thanks by the way I don't need glasses to drive a big YES for me.Rosie

Dr. Vazeen seemed very competent when I visited him to check the pressure in my eye. I have a family history of low pressure glaucoma. I get my eye pressure checked one time each year. The problem is that he also had my vision checked by someone who had no schooling or credentials to do so. She gave me the wrong prescription for my new glasses. Because my new glasses were also bifocals and extremely difficult to get used to, it took me a long time to return to Dr. Vazeen's office. The unqualified young lady gave me a slightly adjusted long distance prescription and another optometrist gave me my old long distance prescription from my last pair of glasses. The office manager refused to help me pay for new prescription lenses because "too much time had passed since my original appointment." I wrote a letter of complaint to Dr. Vazeen. He payed me $80, enough to pay for a new pair of glasses with the help of my insurance which would kick in a year from my visit to Dr. Vazeen. He told me he no longer wanted me as a patient. He did not say he was sorry.Do not let anyone but a qualified optometrist or ophthalmologist examine your eyes to give you a prescription. Dr. Vazeen checked my eye pressure professionally and then gave me an unqualified person to give me a new glasses prescription. Don't let this happen to you.

When you have your cataract surgery with Dr Vazeen, you also find the fountain of youth In a matter of weeks my vision was resorted to my youth. It is truly miracle surgery.Dr Vazeen has the best staff with very thorough process. There is nothing left to your memory. It is all written down for you, pre op and post op procedures.Thank you Dr Vazeen, you are the best !!

We found out the begining of November 2013 that my 15 year old son had Cataracts and needed surgery. Dr. Vazeen performed the surgery the end of November on both eyes. My son went from hardly being able to see, almost blind in one eye, to seeing almost perfectly. Vazeen was very patient and made my son comfortable through something that was very scary. All of the people at Advanced Eye Care were amazing. We couldnt ask for a better experience under the circumstances.
